My husband and I were set to close on a house, and it stated in the contact we were to get keys at closing, since we closed on our sold home the same day. The couple we were buying from was elderly, and (originally) could not hire a moving company and be out of the house until the next day after closing. We were understanding, and made arrangements for all of our belongings in a storage facility. At closing, while signing paperwork, the sellers stated they could not be out of the home until Saturday, and we could not have the keys until then. Our realtor then asked "Will the buyers be compensated for the additional costs?" Patricia Drumm then threw her paperwork down in frustration, began yelling at my husband and our realtor, and even her own clients! She yelled at them "Well, you don't even want to sell the house that bad, do you?" She was extremely unprofessional, rude, and a bully to everyone in the room, including her own elderly clients. It's 3 days later, and we still do not have the keys to our home.
