Awesome. Our system was in need of updating. The updates were reasonable and the results are AWESOME.

I first got exposed to Hanson at the 2013 Homearama in Liberty Twp, where they did basement A/V on like 3 houses. I was hooked on the integration and connectivity they were promoting and knew I wanted to do business with them when the time came to finish my basement.
One day while in Dayton, I decided to pop in to their shop for a visit. I don't recommend this unless you're feeling lucky because these guys are pretty much appointment driven. Chris spent a few minutes with me discussing my concept but he pretty much told me to come back when I've got specs and measurements for the layout of my basement. I left that first visit feeling like Chris was an a** but rather than get upset I heeded his advice.
Fast forward a couple months and I made my return to Hanson with a plan and an appointment. I sat down with Troy Hanson and we discussed my budget and what sorts of things I wanted for my basement. After the discussion Troy came back with a very detailed quote to support my ultimate Man Cave. Our next discussion was spent tweaking a few items, negotiating prices, and clarifying intent. Ultimately, we had a deal. 3 flat screen TVs, a 110'' movie screen, projector, ceiling mount speakers, Paradigm tower speakers and sub woofer, and a Control4 system--inclusive of electronic door lock for my front door. Not to mention Troy built a plan that allowed me to utilize the numerous Bose speakers I've collected over my adulthood.
Troy even offered to design a home theatre concept which I subsequently used for my project. He took the time to look of pictures of my concepts throughout the rest of the basement, asked about the room's theme and so on. All of this was so that he could draft up a home theatre that would fit with the rest of the basement. It was an awesome design and was included in their overall service fee. Additionally, I decided to purchase my theatre seating through Hanson. I bought 3 Palliser electronic recliners. I have not received them yet due to a backlog and delay with the manufacturer but I expect them to be top notch. The chairs were just over $5000.
Installation was smooth and the installers were extremely professional. From the pre-wire date to the actual installation, everyone I encountered was very professional. Marques Sitter, they read installer, took time to teach me my system and guaranteed his availability for future questions.
I gave them a B on price simply because they aren't cheap.
Hanson delivers awesome and high quality audio video solutions. I would definitely recommend them to others and I would use them again.

Very professional organization -- very knowledgeable. Troy, the company owner, met with us at the store and at the house to discuss needs and budget, make short and long-term recommendations. Installers were very conscientious -- protected carpet and woodwork during installation, cleaned up very well afterwards. Had a concern about the position and ease-of-maneuvering the TV mount after installation -- Hanson ordered special adjustment tools and came back and remounted the TV. We're very satisfied and hope to work with them on future projects. We spent a little more than we initially planned, but the quality of workmanship is outstanding. Highly recommended.
