"Not only did I not bid on (member name removed)basement I never even got a call to bid on it. I do all my estimates and answer all my own calls. (member name removed) is not even in my travel range for doing business."
Joe is very low key, and has extremely helpful suggestions. He is by far the nicest contractor we have ever worked with. Once he came out to hear what we wanted done to our basement, he was very timely with a proposal, and we were impressed with his offer. The entire basement took a little longer to complete, mainly because of working around the holidays. Well, that and also because we added things to the original proposal. Joe was awesome in going with the flow and doing everything exactly as we wanted.
Joe is a very honest contractor. He did a great job telling us when he would be at our house and would text us if things changed. If he was unhappy with something that was done, he would correct it just as if he were doing the same work in his own house. A perfect example of this is when he removed and replaced a pocket door that was not sliding very well to the new bathroom.
We have had a plethora of work done in and around our house and have worked with several contractors/professionals, i.e., two story house addition, landscaping, and electrical work. None of them compare with the professionalism and integrity that Joe exhibits.
Since the basement is now finished, our family has used it every day. We are so very happy we went with Good Guy Home Improvements and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.
