At first, all went well. However, now all tiles are coming up. Given multiple opportunities to fix the situation, Future Flooring has declined to stand behind their shoddy workmanship.

I am so upset with how this turned out, I highly recommend no one use this company. I hired him because he has done work for a friend of mine's flooring company and we needed to get the job done in a reasonable time frame. I got 3 bids, and he was the lowest, when he came out to estimate the job, I felt he had good knowledge of what needed to be done. When I called him to ask some follow up questions, I made it very clear that our main concern was lippage (lippage is when the tiles do not lay perfectly level to one another). We did not want to trip or stub our feet when walking on the floor and I did not want pooling spots when I am mopping. I asked him if lippage occurs, what does he do to remedy it. He said he has "NEVER" had a lippage problem, because they know how to install a level floor. He started work about 3-4 days after I gave him the green light. He sent a 2 man crew out here, and they moved very quickly to get about 400 square feet put down. I called him because after the grout was in, I had some concern about lippage I saw. I asked him to come out so we could discuss. I didn't hear back. He showed up out of the blue a week or so later to pick up some tools they left here for a "job". I showed him my concern then, he said, no problem they can chip up and fix the worst ones and he agreed to do this. A week goes by, and I don't hear from him, as to when they will be completing the job. I leave a couple voice mails. I finally get a call back but I was on another call, and he left me a message saying that they are too busy to finish my job and since I wasn't happy with their work then they are not coming back and I need to call someone else, this was 3 days before I needed the job to be completed... this is a period of 5 weeks from the time I first spoke to him. I hadn't seen him in 2 weeks by the time I got this voicemail and 3 weeks had gone by from the last time the crew was out. I ended up having to hire someone else to complete the job and it cost me more for that then his estimate. The job was supposed to cost about $5500 including materials, I paid Future Flooring $3000 and another floor installer $3000 and I had to buy materials on top of that. So it was $1000 more than my estimate and a hassle as it took 7 weeks for the job to be completed when I was originally told 1 week. Brett's complete lack of professional responsibility is very upsetting and I called him 2 times to ask for some compensation or a call back to further discuss, and I have yet to hear back from him.

I can't recommend this company enough. The owner was on sight and made suggestions about how the tile placement would look best that turned out to be a great choice. The workers were friendly, professional and hardworking. They were efficient and honest and listened to what I wanted. The finished product was perfect and I have received nothing but compliments on the new showers and floors.
Description of Work
They put tile in two newly created showers, two bathroom floors, the kitchen floor and laundry room floor.
