We have been using Deals Landscaping for several years. They have done a variety of projects for us and they are a great company to work with. They do quality work at a fair price. Jonathan and Joe area very knowledgable and are a pleasure to work with. If you need any kind of landscaping work done I would highly recommend Deals Landscaping.

Jonathan handled the project from start to finish. He was resposive, dependable, respectful, punctual. He and Matt worked very hard until the job was completed. I am very pleased and proud of my yard, also, the pavers are beautiful, we have gotten a lot of compliments.

Services were delivered according to contracted specifications. Deal's performed all tasks in a timely manner. In 3 specific cases, their recommendations/actions did not pan out.

1) They assured my wife that they would deep-edge the beds to the extent that there would be no necessity for installing bed liners. The edging they did was not sufficient to protect the integrity of our bed spaces.

2) Deal's dramatically under-represented how much mulch would be required to r***** weeds in our flower beds. They didn't provide nearly enough to do the job right. 

3) The fill-dirt used wasn't treated with pesticide. As a result, we have a variety of weeds (even corn stalks) growing in those areas that were not present in our yard prior to the work. 

I am in another state so only saw the photos, but friends thought I had spent much more.
Everything was completed by the date promised. 

Fertilizer works well.  The corn-based weed control is not as effective as the commercial weed killers, but it also does not poison our pets and wildlife.  Some spot spraying is still necessary.

In our neighborhood, our lawn is the "go to" place for the birds to get worms after a rainfall.  The organic treatments seem to allow natural life to exist.

They were not very good. They were punctual, they did a good job with the work. I would probably not use them again. They trimmed well but they did not come back in the spring or in the summer. I called them and they said they would come and look at it but they did not come back. When i expressed my concerns, it took 5-7 phone calls to get to them. It has taken about 4 month now and the bush has grown.

My yard went through a lot of changes five years ago--another provider took out beds, put in sod some places. But grass wasn't growing that well.
With servicing that Deal's has done in past four years, the lawn is recovering. I don't like to use a lot of chemicals, so my lawn doesn't look like a golf course green, but I'm happy with how it is coming along.
Deal's are very considerate and responsible. And they have always been very helpful when I've dropped in for some advice or to buy mulch or soil.

They did a great job. It was like a jungle and they took branches down, they took down shrubs that were above my roofline. They spent two days here cleaning up. I can't say enough about them.

Before beginning the work, the Deal's staff worked with us as we figured out exactly what it was we wanted. Helped us explore options. Gave us a thorough and honest estimate.
Crew chief and staff both called as a courtesy the day before they were to come out. Crew was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and respecful of my property. They worked hard, wasting no time while they were here. They went out of their way to limit and quot;collateral damage,and quot; e.g., they did all of the digging by hand rather than use a backhoe in order to limit damage to my lawn. With my permission, they removed a panel of my fence in order to drive a small Bobcat into the backyard to fill the flower box with dirt. Minimal damage to yard, which they repaired. Replaced the fence panel so that you can't tell it was ever removed.
Job came in on price and on time. Everything done as promised. Everything looks great, just as we wanted it. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
I've already recommended Deal's to friends.

There were a lot of issues in our back yard and Deals handled each one expertly. They gave great advice, were excellent problem-solvers, and even reused materials from the old landscaping when it was possible. We appreciated their communication and efficiency throughout the project. The quote for the work was comprehensive and prompt. We are really happy with the work and will use them again.

They are a long time family-owned business. They are very knowledgeable about native plants, natural fertilizers and plants in general. I was ready to buy the Chinquipin Oak they had in the spring before the leaves came out, but John looked at it, pulled off some twigs, and said I better wait till they get a better one because this one has some branches that are not going to leaf out. The one we got survived the 2012 heat and drought (with watering, of course) with no dead branches.
We have always received good prices, with friendly and excellent service. Enjoy their barn/store, even the cats are friendly.

Went well. They were professional. It was ridiculous hot, but they finished in no time and even seeded the ground around the patio and where the little bulldozer ran out to the street. Were polite and even asked the neighbors if it was okay to park their vehicle and trailer in the street in front of the house. The only trouble we had was they didn't get a permit from City of Enon and the City came by and asked about it so I had to run up and get a permit that day. Turned out okay, but kind of a pain. And they should have done it. Also, (no fault of theirs), it was so hot that none of the grass seed they planted grew so we'll have to reseed it again once the heat breaks this fall (if it ever does). Turned out really nice though, and no more water problems!

I stopped by since I drive by there a lot and I always liked the look of their mulch (nice natual color and fine cut). I asked about mulch delivery and arranged for 5 cubic yards to be delivered. It was delivered the same day right when they said it would be and he asked where I wanted it dumped. The truck driver did a good job not to get any on my grass and yet still leave room for my truck to pull alongside on the driveway. The mulch was fresh, clean and fine cut, just what I wanted. No dyes used in this mulch. It worked out great and I would use them again. Also my neighbor had a pool put in and she used them for the concrete work around the pool and she said they were the cheapest and I looked at it, it looks really nice. nothing fancy but clean edges.
