Dayton Home Remodeling

Since Richard Peyton of Dayton Home Remolding had done such a great job on our master bath project, we decided to contract with DHR to do our kitchen remodel too. And because we know what a skilled craftsman he is, we requested Richard to be assigned to our kitchen project. This project called for many different skills: demolition, plumbing, electrical work, tiling the backsplash, and flooring. Some of the areas were more challenging than others due to problems created by the original construction contractor. He is so meticulous about all aspects of his work. However, in each area, Richard worked to find and implement solutions to which we both agreed. Once again, he delivered a quality product, and we are very pleased with the experience and result. Richard, the gentleman that did the remodel, did an incredible job. He went above & beyond our expectations. He is extremely detail-oriented. Every small thing needed & received his attention. Richard Peyton was exceptional in remodeling our master bath. In our initial discussion he indicated that his main purpose was to satisfy the customer and he did not disappoint. He is a throwback to the days of the master craftsman that can do it all. He even gives good decorating advise! Do yourself a favor and ask for Richard when considering your remodel project but be prepared to wait a while. He is in “high’ demand as it should be.

We were extremely impressed by our bathroom job. They were extremely caring and thorough. We were concerned since our bathroom had unique qualities but they took their time and diligence to troubleshoot and make sure everything was done properly. They even did items in the area not directly related to the job.

Mike was great and gave me a thorough estimate. Richard came and went over the measurements and offered great advice. Richard’s workmanship and skills were outstanding. He has an amazing amount of experience and knowledge I love my new kitchen.

The new bathroom was very nice.

DHR responded quickly to get me an estimate. We had heard about one of their tilers that was a perfectionist, Richard. We requested Richard to do ours so had to wait a bit longer till he was available. He was as detail oriented as we expected. I am well pleased with the work that Richard performed. We contracted with Dayton Home Remolding to do our master bathroom project. Richard Peyton from DHR was assigned to our project and from the first day we were confident that he knew what needed to be done. This was a large project in that during the demo several issues were uncovered and Richard was able to find and implement reasonable solutions to which we both agreed. He is a skilled professional craftsman and easy to work with. He also has an eye for design and offered several much-appreciated suggestions to make our new bathroom even more outstanding. The project called for many different skills; demolition, structural changes, plastering, plumbing, electrical, tiling, flooring, and finish carpentry work. All were done by Richard with expert skill and care. We are thrilled with our new beautiful master bathroom. The best part is the beautiful new tiled shower he built which includes a seamless glass shower door. It is gorgeous! DHR and Richard Peyton were easy to work with and delivered above and beyond what was promised. We will certainly use DHR for our next project and highly recommend Richard for your bathroom remodel.

The company came out for an estimate and spent an hour going through all of the particulars, which we appreciated. The estimate was very reasonable. Richard came to work on the bathroom a couple of weeks ago. He did a wonderful job. He is knowledgeable and careful. He made sure everything was done right. While pulling up flooring, he noticed that the floor boards were rotted. Although this required additional cost, we were so happy that he paid attention to every detail. The final result is the half bath of our dreams!

Completely happy! Dayton Home Remodeling was the only company I found able & willing to take on my job after engaging 5+ others. Had a small bathroom needing a total gut; sub-floor, flooring, drywall, tub, vent fan, toilet, etc. Nothing fancy for the workhorse bathroom; basic tub/shower, high toilet, and vinyl plank flooring. I already did 99% of the demo and would be handling the electrical, paint, and a bit of plumbing. Other companies had no interest in drywall, laying flooring, or dealing with a hands-on customer. Mike didn't hesitate and put together a job to tackle everything for the same price others wanted to do just the tub. Bob was a treat to work with. He was friendly, patient, and trustworthy to leave to work in the house while I was away for most of the project. Good attention to detail and personal investment in the result being excellent. There will be a wait for start-up because they are popular so don't expect work to start in two weeks. I will be calling them back out for my master bath when the time comes.

Dayton Home Remodeling, in particular Richard Peyton who did the work, was fantastic and easy to work with. The company provided a list of suggested suppliers for the tile and custom countertop we wanted. Richard is highly qualified for all aspects of the job, and was meticulous and committed to doing the job in the finest way. He communicated any unforeseen issues immediately, rather than simply ignoring them, and readily accepted our input to resolve the issues. Richard is a pleasure to work with, and a wealth of information. DHR and Richard also were extremely attentive to preventing the spread of COVID-19, using face masks, maintaining social distance, and disinfecting surfaces. Richard takes extreme pride in his work and provided a beautifully remodeled bathroom for us. I highly recommend DHR and Richard Peyton for bathroom remodeling.

Richard was awesome! He pays such attention to detail and I learned so much in the process of what quality work is. He wanted to make sure I was 100% satisfied even if it meant changing details after he started. My bathroom is absolutely beautiful! I remodeled thinking it would improve resale when I sold and now I don't want to move!!! i would definitely hire them again (but only if they guarantee I could have Richard do my job again) Thank you!

Kitchen Remodel

We love our new utility room and bathroom. Dayton Home Remodeling and Richard, our project worker, did a fantastic job. The utility room remodel has just been completed and the downstairs bathroom remodel is almost done. Richard is a very skilled worker in all the phases of remodeling from electrical and plumbing all the way to the finishing touches. He does very careful work with a keen eye for the details. He was able to handle many problems and issues that popped up with well thought out solutions and a wonderful work ethic and attitude. He really cares about doing a good job that will last a very long time. I was very impressed with his determination to do things the right way and the results show it.
