Cougar Construction

It went very well.  The only thing that was an issue (and a very minor one at that) is that he was 15 minutes late with no phone call.  But his work was quality, so I tend to overlook that.  Every other time he has come out (for estimate, samples, etc) he has been punctual or called ahead to tell us he was running late.
I was very pleased with the work he did.  Our nursery looks fantastic now.  The ceiling looks great, and the fan is hung properly.  It looks very professional.  I know it was done correctly.  He talked me through every step of the process, and let me know what he was doing.  I now feel that the nursery is safe for our baby.

All work areas were cleaned up everyday. Overall i would give Couger Construction an A +.

We appreciate Cougar Construction fitting us into their schedule, as it is a very busy time of the year.  We had a new back door installed by a different company.  Unfortunately, the slightly taller (standard) door did not clear the soffit in our 1950's kitchen, so we could only open our door half way.  We were hoping the soffit could be modified versus having to remove it and repair the ceiling and walls.  Cougar Construction only needed to modify the soffit, and they quoted us a very fair price.  Because our house was built in 1950, every wall and soffit is built with plaster.  This made the job more difficult, but Cougar Construction gave us a result that looks great.  They also replaced the trim around our back door.  They did a great job and paid a lot of attention to detail.  We are very pleased and will definitely use them again...and we can open our door now!

Overall the service was excellent. They scheduled around our time.  They were respectful of us and our house.  They were prompt, and when they were not, they would call ahead of time to let us know.  They did a good job, we would call them again for any future needs.

From the moment he arrived to the end of the process, Mike demonstrated his construction knowledge by addressing every issue thrown at him during installation, be it uneven floors and ceilings to no backer board in the existing wall.  He also was very careful with the trim work.  The results speak for themselves.

This is an awesome crew. Hard working, on time, and completed work on schedule. High quality and takes pride in their work they accomplish. I would highly recommend this crew to friends and family. I will plan to have the come back in a future date for some additional work. Mike (Owner) is very responsive and will always answer/return your call. Offers discounts to Military, teachers, police, fireman.

Other than a delay in getting come of the materials, everything went well.  The original schedule went long due to the tardiness of the materials and best of all, Mike checked back with us and made sure everything was still working, functioning, etc. after the work was done.  We felt comfortable with Mike and his crew, satisfied that the work was being done correctly and that Mike is there to stand by his work and materials forever.

The whole job went very well and I moved in before it was completed; they were terrific in cleaning up at the end of each workday and made it easy to live there.  They moved walls, closed old doorways, opened new doorways, built me a walk-in closet in the master bedroom and completely modernized the kitchen and baths.  Mike, the owner, suggested I take some space from the back of the garage and make a pantry and a storage room.  I can still get my SUV and a full size pick-up in the garage.  I now have a pantry which is envied by all the ladies in my neighborhood and a store room for all my Christmas decorations, luggage and other odds and ends you don't want to keep in the house.  Overall, it was a great job and a good experience with this company.  I still want some other work done and have already contracted with them for this spring.
