COTTAGES TO CASTLES LLC

This home inspector came highly recommended by our realtor. He arrived on time and got through most of the inspection. But then he went out one of the doors and it locked behind him. So he had to spend some time finding a neighbor who had keys to unlock it. Shortly after, my husband arrived at the time he had been told for a physical overview of the property. Because the inspector had been locked out, he had to rush to finish in order to make it to the next appointment. The inspector did find two places where there was wood rot in the window frames. And he also recommended a tree to take down. But now that we have moved in to the house, a glaring problem that was not reported is a very bad leak under the kitchen sink that has actually rotted out the particle board. There was also a toilet that had a valve stuck making it impossible to flush. I am sure that the inspector usually does a very throrough job. I just feel that in this case, he was rushed. I still had to pay the full price, but I don't feel I received a complete report.
