"Hey Claudia! It was a pleasure to work with you and Duane on your project! Enjoy the new basement space with your family! Thank you!"
"Good morning We completed a high-quality basement project for Gloria. She made changes to the job that interrupted the production schedule several times. However, we completed the project on time and within her very low budget. 8-10 weeks is typical to complete a project of this type. The installers work under their own supervision mainly because they are 15-20 year veterans in our field. And yes collecting payments is part of my job or we could not be in business. I do not think this customer has ever had a major construction project before. I will do a better job defining expectations for rookie customers in the future. Also was difficult to communicate with this customer due to her time constraints working in the healthcare field. We finished the project flawlessly and filled in all her requests. Enjoy."
"Good afternoon. Thank goodness there's always two sides of the story. I met with Swati's husband and we came to terms after several meetings via email and in person. This Swati person here on this review was not involved in any way whatsoever when the scope of project and materials were identified. Mainly this is a case of the Spouse not being involved with ANY of the selections of this project. These were all agreed upon and identified by her husband who actually signed the contract. We passed every single county inspection-and yes they were via FaceTime due to Covid. The project ran smoothly as all of them do, until she wanted to make changes to the flooring and a vanity cabinet. I was toid by the person signing the contract that we would revisit the flooring later and perhaps upgrade. I informed him I use the same carpet sample for quoting purposes. A nice mid grade 40 Oz carpet with over 30 color options available-Reds to Greens to beige to tans to neutrals to white. When I bought the samples for review, she said that she was an artist and her expectations were way higher than these colors on the sample board. After three attempts of tracking down other samples that costed more, it became obvious they wanted a higher quality carpet for free. And it became evident that she and her husband were not on the same page regarding final project details-of course this makes me the bad guy for not being thorough. To make matters worse, I became sick and was hospitalized for six weeks. Out of an abundance of caution and my inability to operate the company we communicated to all 18 customers and announced we were shutting down the company for my health reasons and all customers involved. Every single customer contacted my assistant several times over the month. Several customers sent cards of "get well soon" and this customer instead chose to write a nasty inaccurate account of what happened on this project. I reached out to this customer as well and they could have cared less about me and the fact I was hospitalized and I made the best decision for everyone. After I came home and started feeling better I restarted and completed all of my projects that were on my plate. The wonderful reviews of those projects are posted above. The whole time this customer wanted something for nothing. Even asked me to lower the price again the day of the contract signing and this Swati person did not have part of any decisions at all on this project. We didn't do anything wrong. She just should have been more involved on the front end than on the back end of the project. And also realize that if you upgrade something, it does cost more. There is a big difference between a 40 ounce carpet and a 65 oz carpet regarding the cost. Bottom line is she just became irrational when she realized she was not going to get something for nothing.... MS"
"Good morning. We told (consumer name withheld per their request), it would take us 8 weeks to build his garage based upon our production schedule. Even during unseasonable and unending rain, we still achieved to complete his project in exactly 8 weeks to the day. This customer was very pushy and intoxicated by noon almost every day. He was very boisterous towards my employees and quite disrespectful to me as well during the construction process. We completed a very nice detached garage on his property that was completeld on time and within budget. We passed all county inspections and completed the project strong. The two things I learned during this process was that (consumer name withheld per their request), is a good man to work with when he is sober.... and We are a professional organization. We have dozen and dozens of beautiful projects we have completed over the years and would, love to show them off to future customers. Thank you for reading this review response. I can be contacted directly at 937-609-0123"
