Chuck did a great job and for a very reasonable price

His quote was for $734. When all done, I had to pay him $1378 (plus $300 for tiles that was not in his estimate so not counting that). 
Basically he quoted based on hours that he estimated for the job (he charges $85/hr which I did not know
until he billed me, he only put $600 for labor), after work started and 
it seemed to be take much longer, but I did not think of challenging him on his estimate since his 
estimate was in writing and I thought a few more hours is ok. Any ways, it took him over twice the
estimated time, and I ended up much more than what I would have paid with cost/sqft that
Lowes would have charged.
He is a very nice gentleman - soft spoken, professional, and his quality of work is excellent, but 
I cannot justify having to pay so much more.
I would use his service again if it is fixed cost, and not by the hours that can go 
way over his estimate!

All of the work was done to our secification and Chuck did an outstanding job of overcoming numerous obstacles while maintaining the schedule and budget.

Each project has been accomplished timely and well.  Chuck is easy to work with.  During the kitchen remodel, there were several other contractors and an inspector involved and Chuck managed those subcontracts very effectively.  I most appreciate that Chuck can do all aspects of a job - it allowed us to make some changes "on the fly" during the kitchen remodel and Chuck had the skills to bring diverse elements together.  I would definitely recommend Chuck!

Excellent workmanship and attention to detail.

Overall things went very well. Chuck double booked the first appointment he set so we had to reschedule but it was no big deal. Time will tell his workmanship holds up but the window has to be better than what it was. Even though he used my materials I was still shocked at the price (was expecting more). Chuck later told me that he normally charges $40 an hour so next time I'll have more work for him. I would definitely use him again in the future!

This house was an example of how not to buy real estate. In a bad neighborhood, needing a lot of repairs. The house had recently been broken into twice resulting in broken doors and framework. After searching long and hard, I finally came across Chuck. Words alone cannot describe him. Chuck is uniquely exceptional!!! He replaced a door, repaired framing, repaired a sub-floor and reinstalled the toilet, installed railing, checked and repaired windows that were not installed properly. He also assisted with electrical, provided tools, and more! Awesome in every way!

He is just a guy doing home renovations for a side career but he does an incredible job and has all of the equipment he could ever need. His price for the work he did was extremely reasonable.
