They demand 90% of the project cost before they would start the project. They started the project for my sun room project and did the excavation and left it after. They just dug the mud and didn't finish it. They were suppose to use an engineer for this project but they didn't use the engineer on this project. I did ask the project manager. They said they had a new owner and they changed the way contracts were. The sales representative didn't tell me everything and was trying to skip the paperwork and he was very dishonest. They removed my deck and tore up my patio pavers and just left the area unfinished. The whole project was a mess for charging too much money. I paid close to 2/3 of the amount they wanted which was $77,000. The engineer was supposed to be on the project but they told me we don't need him. Later on they decided they needed the engineer so they are charging me more for the engineer. They want to keep charging me more money beyond on what's in the contract. They want more money before they might start working and might charge me more while they are working on it. The amount of money I will end up paying is unpredictable and the amount of work that they're doing is what they are telling me and I don't even know if the work is going to be stable. They were already asking additional $16,000-$17,000 for the additional digging and for using the engineer. They are charging me addional $38 per foot on the digging as well.

First time buying windows, I had the original builder quality windows still in the house. They were terrible. I called Champion, Brandon showed up on time and showed us what they could do, I purchased that day and the windows were installed about 5 weeks later. The installer was amazing, the end product was amazing - we could not be happier.

Do NOT use Champion for your windows and sunrooms. Their terrible service and sloppy installation will leave you with a ruined subfloor and flooring. Along with time wasted and a headache. We have been trying to work with Champion since June, it's now August, on why and how the sunroom floor will be repaired. When Champion originally built the sunroom in 2017, they did not apply the proper amount of sealant and possibly the right type of sealant around the exterior of the sunroom. This caused cracking and gapping in almost every sealant joint. In less than 5 years, the entire room had to be resealed. To which Champion admits that they did not build properly and say they are getting teams together to do the repair. Over a month of being jerked around and slow communication from Champion, they say they will not cover it under warranty because a change of ownership form was not filled out. Champion also mentioned that the amount of damage to the floor has been there a long time (before we moved in and the house was still under original ownership) and that they needed to be notified within 30 days of the problem. While Champion also understood that the water was dripping INSIDE the walls through the failed sealant slowly over the time lapse of 5 years. Champion is incredibly difficult to work with, slow to respond, goes back on their commitments, and will not service what they sell unless they are paid to repair their poor craftsmanship. Choose a different company to build and install your investment.

Quick and efficient. The guy worked through the rain and made sure none got into the house. He made sure the 2 day installment stayed a 2 day installment even with the fact of it raining off and on both days. He also removed my old awnings and made sure all the mess was cleaned up.

Run, not walk to anyone but champion of Dayton. Ordered a garden window in April of 2021. It was installed but the shelf was not. What they had was the wrong size. Well they told me the reorder would be out on priority. Ha I never should have paid them when the job wasn't complete. They finally, after refusing to refund the part that they didn't deliver, come out in April of THIS year. Well gosh, this shelf isn't the right size, we will have to order it. Was supposed to be here last week, an appointment made in April. I had to reschedule it due to conflict. Missed their call today about the appointment for today and low and behold, they don't have the shelf so will have to reschedule it. Champion windows can't make a glass shelf. I suppose maybe by sometime next year I will get my shelf.

We ordered our front door 7/21. They measured it 8/21. It was supposed to be done in 10/21. When we called Champion in October it was impossible to get anyone to answer the phone let alone help us. In February 2022 we did a BBB complaint and someone finally called and said the door would be installed 3/18/22. Seven months after we ordered it. The guys came to install the door and it was measured wrong and was two inches off all the way around. So still no door. No phone call from Champion. Not one myhusband has called or texted every day since then and not one phone call or text back. We still dont have a door and no sign of when it will be ready. They won’t refund your money. They keep 30% of your down payment. Worst company and customer service. They have lost the BBB accreditation. DO NOTBELIEVE ANYTHING THE SALESMAN SAYS. WE WERE LIED TO. if you don’t believe me go to BBB website and look at all the complaints.

The process could not have gone any better.

The whole process went great. The salesman was awesome and knew what he was talking about and Brad the installer was fast and efficient.

The worker was persistent, working even after dark to complete the job. The only problem was the insulating foam on the garage interior is exposed. Not a big deal, but concealing that would have a nice touch.

It was not good. It took them 4 months to finish the job. I was happy with the windows now but I wasn't happy with process.

It was very good. I had them worked for me in the past and it was always been great. They were professional. They were on time. They were very nice.

Awful, horrible product, disappointing install on both windows and doors, less than a year and already paying out to have them serviced.

It went very well the crew was great

Poor communication across the company. Installation crew missed the first appointment. Employees are quick to promise you the world. Each phone from the customer end prompted the response “they just arrived, we can schedule you now.” Window frames arrived damaged the first time, had to wait another 5-8 weeks for install. Asked sales rep for a discount to help make up for the lost time at work. Was told “all discounts are given when you signed the contract”. Window sash was damaged (don’t know if arrived that way, or during install) but another 5-8 weeks for replacement. Do not recommend, and will not use again.

The window was ordered and replaced after it came in from the factory at no charge.

After every time the recaulking was done, no sooner did water start coming in again, so we had to call them back out several times. Finally we were told we needed a new roof and we longer had a warranty; this is when they told us we only had a one year warranty not a lifetime, since we were not the original buyers of the home. The company was not very clear with regards to the length of the warranty, telling us 10 years initially, then changing the length to 1 year. The inconsistency of Champion's warranty information was very disappointing.

The new patio sliding door was installed without any problems and the old door and left over materials were hauled away. The problem windows was also replaced at no charge under their lifetime warranty. The installer was very professional and left all areas cleaned of any debris. I recommend Champion Windows of Dayton to anyone needing their services.

Very well. Champion did an excellent job. Installation, sales, and follow up were outstanding. My home has never looked better.
