The owner of the shop is SO, SO nice--nicest, most genuine man I ever met. He's also thorough and gets the job done fast. I arrived before opening time as I had many errands to run. The owner very willingly told me to come on in--even though he wasn't officially opened. NICE man, NICE company, NICE work--can't say enough good things about this organization. :)

It was immediately diagnosed, and 2 different paths were offered- along with the cost of each. I chose to have them transfer the data from my existing DVC tapes to DVD, rather than repair the camera. Very fast, very professional, and they didn't charge for the diagnosis since it was an easily recognizable problem.

Initially, I had hoped to replace the broken belts in my old cassette deck myself.  I removed the cover of the unit and saw the intricate work required to replace the belts and quickly realized the work was beyond my skills.  I called Buckeye Electronics to inquire if they could repair my cassette deck.  They said they would be happy to install the belts.  My cassette deck was completed approximately one week after dropping the unit off.  Buckeye Electronics was capable and friendly.

The fix was more costly than the value of the monitor. His repair price was reasonable but monitor prices are now so low that repair was not a valid option. There was no charge and he agreed to dispose of the parts as a service since I was moving and had no way to do proper disposal. They do not normally do this. In my judgment this is an honest well run shop that will not rip you off.

Took a 42" TV to them because we couldn't get a display on it.  Was told that we would get a phone call within 2 weeks.  That time came & went & no word from them.  Called them, had to leave a message, which was fine.  There was a lot of phone calls TO Buckeye than it seemed they would call you, as they indicate.  I think they ended up having the TV for over a month only to be told that they didn't think they would be able to repair it - because he wouldn't be able to get the part.  If he could get the part, we were told it would be $500-ish for the repair.  
We "disposed" of this TV by giving it to someone & they (not a TV repair person) managed to get the part & fix the TV for $100.00 & not too long after the TV was given to them.  So, nothing like giving away a TV that a certified TV Repair person said they couldn't fix because they couldn't get the part, buy yet "joe smoe" got it without trouble.  Nothing like trashing a TV to find that what it actually could have been fixed for what we paid to NOT have it fixed - by a pro.

They were fine. I wasn't here when they guys fixed the stove but from what my wife told me, they showed up when they were supposed to. I thought the price was pretty reasonable. It was just an electronic problem that he ended up fixing on his own.
