Very happy with matching front to back.

The sales contact, John, was very helpful working with me on the extra documentation required by the insurance and mortgage companies.  Scheduling support was good, the company worked closely with me to get this done when the weather was right.  The crew showed up exactly on time and was fast, professional, and did an good job of keeping the areas around my house cleaned up.  Danny did an excellent job on the flashing and finishing.  I particularly appreciate his attention to detail on a special request to install a rubber underlayment on a specific problem area on my roof.  Overall this was an excellent job.

We had Bauer come out to the house to inspect for storm damage last fall.  Storm damage was found and Paul worked with our insurance company to get the damage repaired.  We scheduled the roof replacement for the spring and were going to wait till then.  In the mean time, we decided to sell our house.  We called Bauer and they quickly fast-tracked the job and got it done.
We are very happy with the service provided and the job done.

They did a competent job. They came back to do things that were requested. The only problem that we had was that, they were fairly late at night. It gets dark at about 5:30 and they worked till about 6:20. They started up over the garage and they didn’t see the chalk line they had put. They put extra bents over the garage and attic. It really didn’t come out well. They were ready to come and redo it. But my son said, that wasn’t a good idea to do that. We had made the down payment was made in August and they got around in November or December. They got around to it when they could. It’s a stronger bond and doest look strong when it is redone. I would use them in the future.

We were originally thinking about having the ceiling of a porch repaired, but it turned out to be a more complex project than we were ready to take on.  (The previous owner built the porch himself, and not very well. It will take a significant overhaul to repair it completely.)  In any case, we decided at least to have gutters installed across the front of the porch, and an endcap put on another gutter that leads to the porch, so we could enjoy the porch during rainstorms without getting soaked.  The man who did the estimate was very professional and up-front about what they could and could not do.  We scheduled the work, and it was done efficiently and on time.  The next time it rained, however, the new gutter leaked a bit.  We called Bauer, and they sent somebody out immediately to remedy the problem.  It's been up for a year or so now, and we haven't had any other problems.  We are now planning to have new gutters installed on our entire house, and Bauer is the first company we will contact.

The sales rep responded to my email request for a quote in a timely fashion. We have worked with this company before and know they do good work. This was a minor job. I approved the quote by phone on 3/25. We were not in a hurry to have the work done. Crew showed up on 3/31. They made no contact with us. Just did the job and left. We were home but since this was a minor job we were not offended that the crew didn't speak to us. We feel the price is a little high - but it is in line with most other companys. I know the material isn't expensive and the two man crew was here for less than an hour. $360 for one piece of trim and less than an hour's work is a little high, in our opinion.

The gutters that were installed are great. However, they had to remove decorative brackets on the front of the house and then realized afterwards that they wouldn't fit once the new gutters were up. Ours is an historic home, so we were upset and they couldn't find a way to solve the problem. Also, they were not careful cleaning up the old gutters, which were on the back lawn. We had to remind them to come get them, and even then found pieces of metal in the yard that could hurt our children. I had to comb through the yard just to make sure it was safe before my children could go out and play.

Great job and highly recommended. No sales pressure to put "extras" on the house. I would do business with them again.

They were responsive in coming out and giving us an estimate at a time when several other roofing companies were over-booked due to hurricane damage and never even returned phone calls. Contracted to have work done and indicated I wanted to be present during work. Appx. 2 weeks later, a work crew showed up to do the work without our ever receiving a call to schedule the work. Because they scheduled work on their end without confirming the dates with us or giving us any notice, I couldn't be present. Work took about 3 days to complete and was more extensive than originally estimated due to add'l water damage to roof trusses. Transition from side of house to garage roof was left unfinished, siding was removed to seal flat-roof materials but the siding was not replaced and raw wood was exposed. Had to have them come back to finish the transition. Sales rep was condescending, indicated the siding on our house "isn't even manufactured anymore" (which is untrue - had purchased add'l matching siding just a few years earlier). They did come out and put a piece of plastic material over the raw wood but they did not use actual siding and the transition still looks like a half-done hack job. The final bill was $500 higher than the highest price quoted on the estimate but given the add'l work needed on the trusses, that seemed fair. Except for the transition, the roofing work itself seemed to be well-done and high-quality.

The guy was very good and he responded quickly. He did an excellent job and everything looked really fine after he finished. It has been working really good since then, there has been no leaks or anything. Somebody else wanted a couple thousand dollars to do this work.

Overall it was good because they provided good people to come and work. They gave me an estimate and they stayed within the estimate. I had to remind them to come and do the work because they were running behind, but when they did, they did a good job.

Overall, the Bauer crew was great! They were fast, clean and efficient. They completed the entire job in just over 2.5 days with almost no mess left behind. They also installed new flashing around the entire roof, which was an especially nice touch. I think I only saw the crew take about one break during the entire project. The crew was receptive to my questions as the job progressed, and did everything they could to please me. John came by to check out the progress of the job and checked with me frequently to be sure I was satisfied with the job. During the final inspection, John also did a full walk around of the roof and grounds, picking up all the loose debris and nails. I had to push a little to get one tiny final touch up finished, but this was, by far, the least stressful large project I've experienced since I became a homeowner. There were no surprises or hidden costs and John makes sure that the customer gets what he pays for.

THEY DO A PROFESSIONAL JOB AND HAVE BEEN IN THE BUSINESS FOR YEARS. THEY HAVE THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT FOR ROOFING AND KNOW HOW TO USE IT. WE HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM SEVERAL TIMES TO OTHERS.

THEY HAD GOOD WORK ETHICS DID NOT QUIT UNTIL THEY FOUND THE PROBLEM. THEY CLEANED UP ALL OF THEIR MESS AND GOT RID OF DEBRIS. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL.

THEY HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR A LONG TIME. THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGH, BUT WE LIKED THEIR SOLUTION FOR THE FLASHING AROUND DORMERS, COMPARED TO THE OTHER COMPANY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.
