ATTENTIVE CHIMNEY SERVICES

This company took advantage of me because they knew I could not go up to the roof and check. We had a large rain and had water leaking over are electrical socket. I paid them to fix this leak and seal the chimney and they ripped me off. I have called and now there number is disconnected. I even texted Nikki one of the owners. No response back. Look at the pictures of the work they did. These were the pictures taken from another company here to repair the horrible work they did. They even felt bad that this company took advantage of me like this.

Excellent! We used Matt for a chimney inspection and then repairs + stove installation after we bought our home. The work was done professionally and with excellence. The stove looks beautiful, and I was very pleased with the chimney repair. I would highly recommend Attentive Chimney to anyone who needs. 10/10

So far, no leaks

Perfectly. We have a large fireplace in the great room which has unconventional dimensions making it prone to smoke "backdrafting" into the room. Matt evaluated the problem and then installed an insert and we can now enjoy a wood-bruniing fire and have the dual benefit of no "backdrafting" and much greater efficiency. Our great room temp. goes up 3-4 degrees and the electric bill drops concordantly.

Matt showed up and began working even though I was not home. (I had forgotten he was coming even though the appointment was on my calendar and he called in advanced to say he would arrive soon.) I arrived home shortly after he got there. He was very professional. Completed his work. Chimney isn't leaking. I would hire him again for any other chimney needs.

contacted matt who provided a detailed inspection with cameras, and gave me an estimate.  I called several weeks later to set up the job and he was very accomodating as to time.  His two man crew provided 30 min notice and arrived well prepared and on time.  they were very conscious of keeping my house clean and were very congenial and professional in service, answering my questions and providing some future tips on getting reduced costs in service.  they completed the job in less than the 3 hours set aside.  I was very pleased with their services.

As a Realtor, I've used Matt Hohenbrink with Attentive Chimney Services professionally and personally for several years and have always been well pleased. 

This is not my first experience on a personal level.  We have two fireplaces and he has been out in the past to do chimney and fireplace work on our older home.  Matt is the only one that I trust to do the job.  He takes pride in his work and he cares about his customers.  He takes care in doing his job meticulously and to the proper specifications.  Steve joined him today and was also an asset.  I will not use anyone else.

I am a realtor and use them for my clients. I am happy with them.  They have a good price and provide a decent service for the money.  In the past they have been a little slow, but nothing too bad.  I would absolutely use him in the future.

They will come back in the spring to fix some cracks. My husband was impressed with them and their service.

Excellent response time for inspection as well as to accomplish the work. Crew was courteous and very professional and the tasks were accomplished in less time than planned and the entire are was clean when they left. Would use again for chimney, fireplace inspections and repairs.

We've hired Matt from Attentive Chimney for a variety of services since 2009.  Originally we had him come out to do a Video Chimney Inspection on the house we were purchasing.  From that inspection we learned that both the interior and exterior of  the chimney needed work.  Attentive Chimney took care of relining the interior of the chimney and assisted in the exterior repairs, as well.  We now have our chimney inspected and serviced each year by Attentive Chimney.  We always receive prompt curtious service.  Matt takes good care of his customers.  We also hired Attentive Chimney to relocate our dryer vent.  Matt did the job quickly and when he left the area was neat and tidy... didn't even look like we had work done.

They came out and did what they were supposed to do and did it well.

I was given a wide window as to when they would be there, buy once they got there went right to work and were done in under a half hour.  They made no mess and were very professional.

Overall very good experience from Attentive Chimney.  I had them clean our chimney and also do a maintenance inspection.  It seemed a bit pricey ($120) for only about 1.5 Man-hours, but it seemed to be good quality work.  They were very courteous and professional and did not leave any kind of mess.  I will likely use the same company in the future.

Our chimney had old grout (?) or some sort of spackling from a repair job that the previous owners did (or tried) that looked awful. It was the first thing I'd see when I pulled into the driveway and drove me nuts. I called about having it removed via chemicals (acid) and was told that my newly planted shrubbery and accent trees directly below would suffer if the chemicals got on them. Decided to go the sandblasting route instead. When the guys got up on the roof they pointed out several things that needed to be done to the chimney that I hadn't noticed from the ground. There was a lot of grout that was coming out or loose so they took the old out and put new grout in. The caps were also in sorry shape so they replaced those, too. My chimney now looks wonderful and, according to the workers, will be in good shape for years to come.
