It was excellent, they were great contractors!, very responsive, always on time and did the clean up on the project with excellent customer service. This is the company that I would hire in major restoration projects.

It took a while from the time I agreed to have them do the repairs before they could fit it in the schedule. Once they came to do the work, it was done well and quickly. He also rechecked the house for other issues while he was here. He was professional, clean and polite.

Started job 3/24/2016 and took over 3 months to complete.  Roofer he hired arrived and at my house after dark to
work  neighbors complained of the noise Kept me awake  Their work was substandard  I has to have my insurance adjuster meet with John Lephart., Atlas rep,  to look at the poor quality work they had completed.  The adjuster stated it looked as if a 2 YO had done this work..  Numerous issues with the roof had to be redone.  The roofers had left nails and trash all over my yard and sidewalks.  John charged the insurance for supplies that he did not use. When I questioned him he said well these things did not need to be replaced at which time I suggested to him that he should refund that money to the company.  The entire job was  never completed, H e had indicated to the insurance adjuster several items he would complete but did not,   After the ceiling repair had to be redone for the 4th time  I gave up. We repaired the ceiling ourselves correctly.    I was truly tired of dealing with Atlas.  John was not honest with me on several occasion  He said they would leave the extra shingles and they did not. When I questioned him he said they had used them all ..not true we eventually got some extra shingles.   When he brought the paper work for me to sign and to collect my final payment, I truly expected a discount for the poor service and quality of the job,  I was shocked when he presented me with the full bill and I related this to him  He said he was sorry.

Atlas Restoration sent out "Lyn" to prepare an estimate. He showed up and assessed the damage in a timely manner and "Mack" was asskgned to complete the work. They delayed beginning the repairs and have continuously delayed the repairs throughout the project. The dryout of my kitchen was completed by another company within 2 days of the damage (this had to be done first before Atlas could be allowed to repair things). The only repairs Atlas needed to complete were to replace the trap in my pipe that was busted, patch the hole cut in the ceiling necessary to reach the pipe, paint the ceiling, put the wood trim back up that had to be removed to access the pipe, paint the ceiling, paint the kitchen (it's a small kitchen - not even an eat in kitchen), and see if the insurance company would okay the replacement of flooring since the laminate flooring was bowing up from the wetness. As of June 2011 the trap has been fixed, ceiling hole patched and painted, and kitchen walls have been painted - that took until June for them to get that much work done because they kept giving me later days to do my repairs since they were "small" and not a "nuisance" to living. My trim has not been put back and my floor has not been addressed at all (therefore my food has to be stored in another area and my microwave had to be relocated to my dinning room since that was all in the way of the repair area). I had to call the company and call my insurance company multiple times so they could contact Atlas to push them to get the rest of the work done. I called my insurance company yesterday again for them to complete the work and find out the status if their was any issues on that end (i.e. insurance changing their mind about not wanting to agree to fixing the floor etc). It us now the end of July 2011 and the work is not completed. The work could be finished in less than a day if they would just show up to do the job! I would like to indicate, Mack, the actual repairman is extremely nice and does an excellent job! I do not think any of my negative views of Atlas are anything to do with him. I believe it is not in his control which jobs he has to work on and when. It just seems my water damage is not enough of a money maker project for them to care if they finish it to collect any payment. (Payment price above of $500 is my expected costs due to a decutible expected to be paid upon completion of work). If Mack did work on the side, I would hire him. I would not place any future repairs in the hands of Atlas. I need a company willing to get the project done and that's just not Atlas! In fact, I was going to use them for my siding repairs but have chosen another company as a result of my experience with Atlas on this project.

Another employee has begun work on the flooring project. He, like Mack, is very courteous and has excellent craftmanship. He put in a long day working on getting as much of the floor done as he could in one day. He accomplished a lot for being the only worker on the project. He is helpful, respectful, and very knowledgable. The job is anticipated to be completed within 3 working days at most, 2 at the shortest. Again, if he did work on the side I would be willing to hire him.
Response from ATLAS RESTORATION & REMODELING

"First we need to have all facts straight. The lead was not called in to Atlas until May 4 of 2011. A different company was drying the job until May 7-8. Atlas performed the Plaster repair and painting the following week, even working around the schedules of the owner and friend. Atlas asked for approval from insurance for flooring replacement, and is currently waiting for a flooring choice from customer. 08-09-2011"
