He did a fine job and in a timely manner. He is old school. He did a shoe repair like it used to be in the 1960s on the streets. His price was very reasonable and responsive. He got my shoes real quick. He is very professional.

My husband took in his favorite leather work shoes. They are not very old but there was a tear in the leather. The gentleman who came old was very polite and asked my husband to come back tomorrow. He sewed up the hole and you can't see the repair unless you get on shoe level. The price was very reasonable to save a pair of shoes.

s He said that he would try and glue it but the damage to the shoe was difficult to get a good repair result.  Afterngetting my shoe back it ripped open again.  Guess the shoe was really beyond repair. 
I had to wait about 20 minutes in line to get to the counter.  The shop itself was very shopworn and needed a good cleaning.  I doubt if any cleaning has been done for many years.

Great. They are the only shoe repair place in three counties. They are always swamped, I expect to see shoes flow out the door soon. But they do their best in getting the repairs done as quickly as possible. Nice people. They do keep some strange hours but they have been at it for so long, they deserve some rest.

My experience went well except for driving across the town to get to them. In the old days these facilities used to be in the neighborhood. They are a well-established business, with their businesses in bigger cities as well but there are only two or three in our vicinity.

I'm very happy with what they did. The shoes look like new. A week went by between my taking the shoes in and getting them back, buth I think I could have had them back sooner if I'd asked. The transaction was professional. I got waited on quickly and in a friendly way.

Took the boots in and were told there would be no problem repairing the boots, given a pick up date and estimate. 
Returned to pick up the boots two days after the pick up date but the leather was not dry. Returned two days later to pick up the boots and were very pleased with the repairs. The color match was perfect and the boots looked near brand new. The wait was well with it, would suggest calling ahead before picking up just to be safe. The owner was very friendly and a pleasure to do buisness with, we will return for all our future shoe /leather repairs.

I had a nice jacket that I cleaned at home. The next day, the zipper pull, fell apart. No pull. Other parts fell off. The slider freely moved up and down the zipper.
I took in to the shop about noon on Saturday. One of the employees, took a look at it. He then took it to the back. 5 MINUTES LATER, he came out with jacket. The jacket was fully functional with a new zipper pull!
My cost was only $8.50

Archie's has repaired shoes for me multiple times. They repaired an eyelet and reglued the sole of my favorite Lowes' hiking shoes. The repairs have not failed as they did on 1 occasion at Helm's. Price and quality are great.

Reasonable price, same day service, quality work, professional attitude and approach.  I will definitely use Archie's again.

It's been several month's and it looks like the repair will last for years this time.

It went great. I brought it in late on a Monday, and it was ready on a Wednesday. There were 2 purses of my wife. He quoted a price and a delivery date, and met both of those.

I have used him before for shoe repair. He has done great work on shoes also.

In a pinch, he has done 'while I wait' service.

Repaired a leather coat which one company wanted 160.00 to do the same job. Archie is a great guy he has repaired my husband leather coat also and did a fantastic job on both coats. Would highly recommend him to anyone that has a leather or shoe repair.
