He pointed out futile issues like the spacing of the rails on the deck, that the tree branches were not trimmed around the power lines. He claimed there was a problem with the breaker box. I had an electrican come in to check it and they said it was fine (they did not do the work so they are not covering their butt). Yet he missed some major problems like 1) there were water leaks in the plumbing all over in the crawlspace 2) a portion of a water pipe has burst and a rubber hose was used to fix the break. 3) A truss in the attic was broken 4)there were a lot of floor joices that had been sistered. This should have been obviouse to him because the floor is not level the doors swing shut. In fact he had propped open the utility room door during the inspection and failed to point out to me this was not normal. I called a structural engineer in for a 2nd inspection and they said the house failed the inspection.
