we have had this service for over 10 years. We have only had 1-2 house calls to repair the motion detector.So when we called after having a new kitchen remodel, we asked for 2 adhesive magnetic strips for doors and to relocate the motion detector.
We were told that it would cost us $129 for the visit and something like $30 for every 15 minutes they were here.We were outraged so we told them to cancel our account to which the woman on the phone answered ok she would do that.  She obviously did not care about our business.
Later this month, we were sent a bill.  We called and asked why we received a bill as we had cancelled the account.
We were informed that there was no record of us cancelling the account and no letter had been sent out from their offices.  After some argument, the woman on the phone (who was polite) said she would do us the favor and waive the 30 day cancellation fee but we would have to pay the 26 days the account remained active this month.
We told her that we didn't know it was active, that it was not our responsibility to know the cancellation procedures for their company were not observed by the person we talked to first.  The woman on the phone kept saying the cancellation should have gone through her office and we would have to pay the 26 days, even though we had no knowledge of their operating procedure.
We feel that this was just a scam to get our money and we would never use this company or recommend them to anyone again, because of their underhanded business tactics.
