COUNTRY FURNITURE & WOODCRAFT

Over the years we have purchased a complete Bedroom suite, a living room couch, a living room chair, a Lazy boy style chair, and corner shelves. We have never had a problem with Marvin. The quality of workmanship is phenomenal and beautiful. When the living room furniture was delivered the people that delivered it did an ok job but wanted to charge $400.00 for the delivery. When said I would not pay that much for a delivery from Danville he lowered it to $300.00. I told him I would pay it but I was calling Marvin. Marvin felt very bad that they charged that much and let me know that they would not be using them again. We really appreciate the quality of workmanship that Country Furniture does and plan on buying more furniture from them. I consider Country Furniture my furniture store and Marvin my friend.

WE SUCCESSFULLY PLACED AN ORDER FOR A CUSTOM BEDROOM SET FOR MY FIRST SON. SOMETIME LATER WE PLACED A DUPLICATE FURNITURE ORDER FOR MY SECOND SON. WHEN THE SECOND BEDROOM SET ARRIVED IT WAS MUCH DARKER AND HAD AN ODOR I COULD NOT AIR OUT. APPARENTLY THE STAIN DISTRIBUTOR FAILED TO MIX THE STAIN BEFORE TAKING IT FROM THE VAT. AS A RESULT, ONLY CERTAIN COMPONENTS OF THE STAIN WERE APPLIED TO THE FURNITURE. SINCE I DID NOT ASK FOR A COLOR MATCH THE PEOPLE APPLYING THE STAIN DID NOT KNOW THAT IT WAS DARKER THEN NORMAL. A STAIN CAN HAVE A GREAT DEAL OF VARIATION SINCE IT IS MADE WITH NATURAL INGREDIENTS THAT CANNOT BE CONTROLLED. I APPROACHED MARVIN KEIM WITH THE PROBLEM AND HE AGREED TO RE-MAKE THE FURNITURE AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. THE ORIGINAL BEDROOM SET WAS DONATED TO A CHARITY FUNCTION AND WE RECEIVED A FLAWLESS REPLACEMENT. THE BEST RECOMMENDATION YOU CAN RECEIVE IS ONE FROM A CUSTOMER WHO HAD HIS/HER EXPENSIVE PROBLEM RESOLVED WITHOUT A HASSLE!
