Not only was our total roof replacement completed in 1 1/2 days, but the "extra jobs" of drywall patching and baseboard replacement, and flashing replacement (we requested that had nothing to do with the roof) were done quickly, professionally, and thoroughly. These would have been so difficult to source, but Miller Custom Exteriors handled them easily and efficiently for us. This company does what they say they'll do and more! The work was of the highest quality, and the Miller guys were all professional and true gentlemen. Their work exhibited real craftsmanship and attention to detail, and definitely deserves an A+ rating. I highly recommend Miller, and would hire them again without a moment's hesitation.

Miller Exteriors always does a great job. They are very customer service oriented as well. They installed the gutters and gutter guards - and they match the rest of the house gutters perfectly. A few years ago they also installed a new sliding glass door in our sunroom. I highly recommend Miller Custom Exteriors for any project you have.

We contracted Miller to replace 7 large windows (dbl hung), 2 xlarge trapezoidal fixed windows , 2 - 6 foot sliders and 4 - 9 foot sliders with the Polaris Energy Wall product line. The team always arrived on time or early every day, always tarped or masked off the areas thoroughly where they were working, and always cleaned up (vacuumed /swept and removed all tools) their work areas before leaving each day so there was minimal disruption to our household. Their attention to detail regarding the trim work and installation (both inside and out) was outstanding! They were always extremely polite, considerate, and responsive. They genuinely demonstrated exceptional customer service at a price point competitively better then other highly advertised replacement window companies. This was a very positive home improvement experience and we will definitely use Miller Custom Exteriors again!

Miller Custom Exteriors was very prompt in coming out, evaluating the job, and providing an immediate estimate.  Of three quotes, thieirs was the lowest and the salesman did not try to sell us things we did not need.  He responded promptly and thoroughly to email questions.  We were concerned about getting the roof done before the weather changed and when we had a stretch of good weather, they were out to do the job. The crew was very nice, polite and respectful of our property.  The work was done in one day and they did an excellent job of cleanup.  We recently had another trades person out to do HVAC work and he commented on the excellent quality of the shingles that we got.

Started with a visit from Doug, a sales rep. We discussed my needs and desires. He recommended products, assessed our home and what would be best. He came back on a second appt. with proposal contract with complete details and prices. I made my initial down payment that day. Then it was just a matter of waiting in line. Note: If you are going to do a project like this, start getting your ducks lined up early because their schedule fills fast. The project flowed great! Once they started, as each crew finished, the next would show up in a day or two. Each crew was specialized to an area of the project. Chimney, roof, siding, gutters. Crew members were clean, polite, friendly, and quite knowledgeable. In every phase, the work was excellent and absolutely custom fit. The project manager, Ed, was out quite often talking to crews and myself. My husband and I could not have asked for a better job. It looks great even on close scrutiny of details. They take the "Custom" in their name very seriously. Everything fits exactly. No gaps, no almosts, just beautiful work which gives us a beautiful home!

They're very friendly and get back to you quickly, but they are very busy and the local weather has been bad, so they're currently a bit slow to do the work.

Miller Custom Exteriors helped us restore and expand our over 100 year old farmhouse. They did a great job ! Started when they said they would, worked every single day and completed ahead of schedule.  They honored our ideas and helped us improve the projects by giving valuable suggestions. The results are better than we could have imagined. We have been involved with many projects over the years - we know the difference between a premium job and an average job.   To do a top notch job at the same time as delivering a completely pleasurable experience is a rare combination!!! We would hire them again and enthusiastically recommend them whenever we get the chance.

The service was pretty expensive, but they did quality work. The service turned out good. We had a leak at first, but they came out and fixed it. They did not charge us extra for that. They were always in contact, and always made sure that things went well, and showed us different roofs and things like that. I would recommend them for the professional, the quality, and the support they gave us during the leak. They couldn't find it, and they came out 5 or 6 times, even during the rain to find the leak.

Exceptional Workmanship and Professionalism

We have just completed a major renovation involving seamless siding, all windows, doors and gutters. We used Miller Custom Exteriors because we employed them last year to replace our roof. Their quality of work and the attention to detail is not something you find with many contractors. The workers are friendly, professional, respectful and clean up at the end of each day. They are on-time and don't leave at the end of the day until an appropriate point in the work is reached. We never saw them take any kind of break except for lunch. I highly recommend Mark, Brian, Norm and all the others who worked on our house. They are a breath of fresh air.

We are extremely pleased with the work that was done and have already recommended Miller's to others. Several people have stopped by to say how impressed they are with the work. Loren and Ed have been fantastic also.

I want to put this into perspective - I have never written a review like this for anyone else.

We have already asked for a quote to have some more work done and we have several other projects lined up over the next few years that they can help us with.

Lorin Miller and his crew do beautiful work.  My house was built in 1923 and the windows match the original design perfectly.  We very much wanted to maintain the same look. 

The attention to detail on the entire job is outstanding.

 Very pleased with the entire project. Our initial plan was to replace the existing asphalt roof on our house which was about 22 years old. It developed a small leak and also started to look unsightly due to algae stains that seem to be very common with asphalt roofs nowadays. Our research had us liking all of the benefits of metal roofs, but we thought it would be cost prohibitive to get one. Our first couple of estimates reinforced this thought. We did contact Miller Custom Exteriors after seeing their customer reviews on Angie's List. Our initial conversation with them was not only a bit more encouraging from a cost standpoint, but they also provided us with an extensive list of metal roofs that they had installed over the years. The ability to drive around and look at some actual metal roofs was very helpful. There are very few metal roofs installed in our area, but there was one that they had done recently that was very close to us. Lorin Miller arranged for us to stop by and speak with this customer and get a close look at their work. The product and installation were impressive and the referral was outstanding. So, we decided to have Lorin come out and give us a formal quote. The cost of the roof that we selected (ABC Generations Royal Brown Shake) was about 50% more than the asphalt roof quotes that we received, but this was still much lower than the other metal roof quotes we obtained. This put the metal roof within our budget. We also got quotes on few additional items (Gutters, ProVia entry door, cupola) and their prices were very competitive so we decided to add them to the project.

We can't say enough about the crew that performed the work. The weather made the job very challenging. Scheduling the work was understandably difficult, but Ed Miller communicated well with us and kept us informed on when his crew would or would not be coming. It rained off and on throughout the three days and not once did we feel the workers were compromising the quality of work due to the conditions. They were very professional and cleaned up the site each day. Joe and his crew obviously take great pride in their work and it showed on this project. Everything turned out better then we expected. Without any reservations, we would recommend Miller Custom Exteriors and will use them again for other home improvements.

THEY NEVER DID THE WORK!

Excellent sales relationship, very clean roofers, took their time with the details.  I was initially unhappy with the color of the shingles but they have grown on me now (bought the Moire black which is more grey in color).  It looks great and quality all around.  I talked at length with them about my options because I really wanted a standing seam metal roof but in the end chose the asphalt for the cost and the "slightly ridged" look of the flat part of the metal roof that I didn't absolutely love.  I would definitely call Miller Custom Exteriors for my next job!  Very reasonably priced compared to other one-man shop smaller operations but ultimately selected them because of the sales experience, the guarantee offered, reputation and quality of product for the seamless bonnet gutters (I live in the woods).

The experience with them was very good. We used them again as well.
