The inspection was done on my home. Radon tests I was told verbally by the Realtor that the values were high. A word document was sent that showed a level of 11.4. Word documents are easily changed. I wanted verification from the inspector of the level.
As the seller this puts me at a disadvantage since there is something wrong with my home. However I had a few questions about the test. I sent the following email message to Craig Limbach the inspector. He did not reply to me so that makes me think there's something wrong with his tests. The email questions follow:
On Wednesday Sept 5th, 2012 an inspection was completed and the
radon test that is attached was given.
Could you verify that the radon level of 11.4 is what you actually
got from this test.
Also, the instrument that was used to measure the level. Are there
calibration requirements? If so when was it last done?
Are you licensed with the state of Ohio to perform radon tests?
How was the test done? Was meter on the floor or on a table ... how
close to the wall. etc?
