Masonry Work
THE BRICK WORK WAS DONE WELL, ADDS COLOR AND VALUE TO THE HOME, INCLUDING THE STONE STEPS. HOWEVER, THE CONCRETE WORK WAS DONE POORLY AND NOT COORDINATED WELL WITH THE WEATHER. THIS CAUSED THE WALKWAY AND STOOP TO DRY WITH IMPERFECTIONS AS WELL AS THE DESIGN NOT BEING ACCURATELY FORMED. THE CONTRACTOR ATTEMPTED TO FIX THIS SITUATION WITH A BONDING AGENT AND CUTTING THE WALKWAY TO STRAIGHTEN. THE CONTRACTOR THEN SUPPLIED IN WRITING THAT THE WORK DONE WOULD BE REPLACED IF NOT SATISFIED. THIS PROCESS HAS NOT WORKED. THE STOOP AND SECTION OF THE WALKWAY HAVE BECOME CHIPPED. THE CONTRACTOR HAS BEEN NOTIFIED IN WRITING TWICE AND WITH TELEPHONE CALLS. THE CONTRACTOR RESPONSE TO THESE REQUESTS HAS BEEN POOR. REQUESTING THAT THIS BE RESOLVED PUNCTUALLY AND PROFESSIONALLY AND THE WORK BE CORRECTED AS STATED IN THE ORIGINAL WARRANTY AND WRITTEN ADDENDUM.
