When we met with Robert (Rob) Cogdeill, the owner, we were impressed by the offices and staff. Rob proudly displayed his 2002 NARI Contractor of the Year Award. We were sold and the work began. We spent the next two months in remodeling HELL. We soon found that Rob s behavior was hostile, intimidating and incredibly arrogant. When remodeled areas didn t meet our approval, his only reply was additional costs or loss of warranty. He adamantly refused to admit any errors on his part and twice threatened to abandon the project which would leave our home a wreck with our cash depleted. The last time came near the end of the project when he threatened to tear off all the material that had been installed and abandon the project. We told him we d call the police, he settled down and the work continued. Even our scheduled painter (an associate of Rob) suddenly (coincidentally) had scheduling conflicts at the end of the project and did not paint our house as planned.
