We purchased a NEW leather stationary sofa during one of their numerous 'best sale of the year' campaigns. Since we were leaving and would be traveling....the salesperson said they could hold the item for 6 weeks. While we were traveling we got numerous voicemails saying they were closing their Cleveland warehouse and we had to urgently get the sofa out. So we complied (earlier than planned!) and scheduled delivery by their due date.
We had the sofa for exactly one week before we noticed we received a repaired/patched sofa not a new one. We found an obvious patch over a scratch/tear on the front of the sofa beneath the arm rest. The sofa is gray leather and the patch is definitely not the same shade of gray.
We have called the company (service) and the manager of the store. We expect them to rectify this. When my husband spoke to the manager he asked if we purchased a clearance or floor item! Really who in their right mind would pay $1700 for a clearance or floor item??????????????????
I am beyond infuriated. Did they really deliver a repaired sofa and try and pass it off as a brand new one?
12/30/13: 2 months later; we finally got a new replacement leather sofa and they took back their repaired sofa. It took 2 months of work and follow up on OUR part. Had to submit a ton of pics of the repaired area, the tags on the bottom of the couch, blah blah. Then we had to keep calling the store manager. I wanted to update to say they did finally replace the sofa but I do not feel we should have had to do all the work and I am still astonished they tried to pass off a repaired sofa to us. I am unsure I will buy from them ever again. It's a shame because I really like the sofa.

My experience with them as been great and I will go back there again. Their in-hand decorator was really good. I had an interior decorator and I want to say that this La Z Boy?s in-home decorator was far better than the interior decorator. Their prices were good and they went out of their way to make me happy. I spent about $1800 for 2 rooms which included furniture, accessories, and rugs, so on and so forth. The decorator was Kim and my sales lady was Angela. She called me every week and let me know the status. They are personable and I would absolutely use them in the future.

The saleswoman was extremely helpful in deciding the size I needed for my living room. I chose a reclining love seat & reclining rocker and with her help, the best color to complement my existing color scheme without having to special order the material. She also suggested getting the Fabricoat protection for spills/accidents. That added one week to my scheduled delivery date, but I think it will be worth it. I am very pleased with my new furniture & it is just the right size for my room.
