The bobbin thread was not catching and I could not figure out what was wrong. I tried to adjust according to the book but I did not really know what I was doing. My machine is old, but newly cleaned and adjusted (before we moved here) and had been working well.
There was no bench charge to look at the machine and give an estimate. I left the machine and a day later, I picked it up. There was no charge because it was just an adjustment. Now I know what to do.
I will return there for questions, repairs and sewing machine needs.

I originally bought this machine at Walmart and this was a certified center for warranty repair. You would have thought I brought in
a machine made of thorns by the way they treated me.
They seemed appalled by the idea of my purchase at Walmart.

I have taken my 28-year-old sewing macine there a couple of times and my sister has taken machines to him. He works magic and they come back looking like new. I will use him again in the future.

We dropped off the 2 machines at the sewing center. Barnes called later that day with an estimate of the repair cost and advised when the work would be finished. They completed the work earlier than suggested. We have had machines serviced here before and they have always provided prompt, high quality service.

I didn't know that it was damaged; I just thought I needed it replaced in the cabinet. They told me that it was also damaged. They fixed it, however they didn't know to put it back in the cabinet. Fortunately, there was a man there that did know to put it back into the cabinet with the right tools. They were very nice, kept the machine for a day or two.

OTHER REPAIR PLACES DESPERATELY WANT TO SELL A NEW MACHINE TO A CUSTOMER WHEN A MACHINE BREAKS. THIS IS THE ONLY COMPANY I HAVE EVER FOUND THAT WANTS TO REPAIR OLD MACHINES. THEY HAVE A LARGE STOCK PILE OF REPLACEMENT PARTS.

ONE OF VERY FEW SHOPS THAT PROVIDE SERVICE ON-SITE. THEY GIVE GREAT ADVICE, LISTEN WELL AND HAVE GREAT SERVICE. ALSO HAS A FULL SELECTION OF NOTIONS, AND ALSO REPAIR VACUMS. HAVE A STORE IN CUYAHOGA FALLS TOO. OFFERS SEWING AND EMBROIDERY CLASSES ALSO.
