On one of the first cold days of the year our furnace stopped heating. Because of our work schedule we needed to have this repair done on that day. After calling many other Heating and Cooling companies (including the company which installed our furnace 8 years ago and had done our regular service), Above and Beyond was the only company who was flexible enough to come out the same day. They came exactly when they said they would and spent at least two hours working on our furnace. They were able to get our furnace functioning perfectly again. In addition to the repair we asked if they would complete our annual service and they did this also. For all this they billed us for one hour of service and replaced our filter as well. We could not be more satisfied and will most definitely use them again!

Above and Beyond removed my old equipment and installed the new energy efficient equipment. They worked late the first night to make sure I had a working A/C unit - very thoughtful of them since it was a warm humid night. They came back the next day to finish up the furnace unit. Above and Beyond certainly describes them! They exceeded my expectations. Too bad they don't offer an A+ rating. Great experience. I would highly recommend them!

I contacted Scott, who is always responsive, about our old water heater that stopped working. He offered to replace it right away (which was a Sunday) at an additional charge or I could wait until Monday. I appreciated the rush option but waited until Monday. On Monday one of his guys came out and replaced it in a couple hours (I already shut off the water and drained the old tank). He also gave me some tips and pointed out items the last installer did wrong (and unsafe). It was great service at a fair price.
I was first sold on Scott / Above and Beyond about 4+ years ago. Before I knew Scott, I had a guy from Falls Heating out to do maintenance on my furnace which was acting up. The guy was confused, called his company, and his boss couldn't figure it out either so they tried to sell me a new furnace. I called another company and same thing. Finally a neighbor referred me to Scott. After some tests Scott figured out the gas company had the pressure way too high. We called DEO to report it and they didn't believe me (and quot;that kind of thing can't happenand quot;). DEO sent out a guy to check the neighborhood, and sure enough Scott was right. The pressure was cranked up to our area and their alarms weren't telling them to turn it down. Could have been a major accident. I've been loyal to Scott ever since.

Scott is like having a friend whom you trust help you out. You know he is looking out for your safety and best interests.

This company has been great. I had them out after I smelled gas and the company who originally installed my hot water heater would not address the issue. The found multiple leaks including the new hot water heater, gave me a good estimate, and we set up a time for them to correct all the issues. After they were done working, which took an entire day the gas company came back out to inspect their work. They did a wonderful job and I will call them again with any issues that may arise.

They were very professional and provided a very detailed estimate. The company owner sat down and reviewed all of the benefits of the new units and also provided options which saved us some money. He services our HVAC units on a yearly service contract and I have recommended him to other neighbors as well.

He was very knowledgeable about our current furnace (an odd design), and went out of his way to explain our options. He also recommended putting a filter into our electronic air cleaner as it turns out they don't really work and cleaning doesn't help much (we found that to be true). He did not try to oversell, and was just a nice guy to deal with. We ended up not going with Scott only because we found we liked the furnace offered by a different company more than the ones Scott offers. Other than that, we liked him.

Scott and Adam are always very professional and prompt. Scott came out and checked everything out to make sure it was the blower and not something else. He took his time to make sure the job was going to be done right. He found that it was the motor but another part that is no longer being made for it. The sad part about the situation is that the furnace is only 6 yrs old and now they want you to use a conversion kit on it. Well the conversion kit for the system is out of stock for 6 to 8 weeks. Scott figured out a way to work with the system and make his own conversion. After he switched out the parts he made some adjustments to blower speed to make sure it was going to supply the right amount of heat. He could have just left after he got everything hooked up but he wanted to make sure I would be completely satisfied with the amount of he coming from the registers.

Scott called back in a very timely manner, we set up an appointment for him to estimate the job. He showed up and gave us an estimate, which we agreed was reasonable, a lot of companies did not want to do it because it wasn't a "big" job.. He showed up and did the job. He is very nice and very professional. Would recommend Scott, he had solutions for our problems. Would call them again if needed for our heating or cooling.

Adam was very professional and explained everything in detail as to what he was doing. I will definately use them in the future.

They were terrific. They came over and took a look at it and determined they needed a part and gave us a quote. When they came the next day they discovered that the problem was more extensive and the new quote was much more. My husband called and discussed it with the owner and they basically agreed to split the difference and we really got a bargain. It was late on a weekend night and they were good. They even told us how to keep our home warm overnight.

We handled everything from a distance because we are absent landlords. Scott Powers was prompt to answer our call and keep us up-to-date as to what was wrong and the estimate of the remedy. We needed him to come out ASAP and he did respond very quickly to patch things up and then came back later to do a permanent fix.

I have had him take care of our furnace and air conditioner for about six years. He is always prompt, friendly, and thoroughly explains the work to be done.
