Howard Lawn & Landscaping just finished our project in which two water features were added to the backyard. It was a great experience from beginning to end working with them and Jessica Howard especially. Jessica had creative ideas and drew up a beautiful plan. She met with us several times at the stone yards for material selection; I felt during our meetings that she was attuned to what we were looking for in the final result. The work began and finished on time according to the schedule as she projected. She kept in touch with us during the installation in case we wanted any adjustments/changes and for questions. They were all we could have hoped for in terms of responsiveness, clarity in terms of scope of work/warranty, and cost. The project could not have turned out any better!

Howard Lawn and Landscaping Service conducts business and completes the job as we used to experience waaaay long ago.  Jessica Howard spent time with us to discuss the project as needed.  She was a super communicator.  We selected materials.  They were delivered and the projects started on time as promised.  If there was a change due to weather or an unforeseen situation, we were notified immediately.  The workers were great and the end result was beautiful.  Several years later we are still happy.

We had a 40 foot line of overgrown arbor vitae trees that were starting to die. We wanted them torn out and replaced with updated landscaping. When I called to arrange an estimate, I got very prompt, friendly attention and a very quick appointment. Jessica came out to the house to evaluate the setting, determine what we were wanting, and take measurements. She returned in approximately a week with a full diagram and estimate of her proposal. I liked that she had it broken down into sections so that we could choose to do the project in parts, choosing based on priorities and cost. Her firm has extensive experience in hardscaping as well as horticulture, so she was able to include various rocks, fences, and a nice fire pit in her plan. We elected to do 2 of the 3 parts of her plan, and we got absolutely no pressure or guilt trip by choosing this approach.
We were given an anticipated install date of early July, and they actually did the work a little early. Jessica kept me very up-to-date on the status of the plan, emailing me regularly. She was on site for all the work. I never met the installation crew, as the entire project was completed in 2 days while I was at work. The new landscaping is beautiful, and I couldn't be happier with the results. We were given top quality plants that looked healthy, flowered well, and have remained in excellent condition and actively growing (with diligent watering) for 4 weeks now. Jessica provided us with detailed instructions on care for both the plants and the water feature, and is available if we have any questions or concerns that arise.
This company gets top marks for professionalism, timeliness, quality, and friendliness. I can't say enough about what a pleasure it was to work with them, and I will definitely call them again in the future when we plan our next landscaping project.ft
