Roofing
$4,100
Shingles were not Duration and of a lower quality.
Sheet corners raised and holding the new shingles up which will allow rain to be blown under them and cause a leak
1/3 of roof has no felt on it and what is felted is done so with a lower grade 15# felt, which is not in accordance with manufacturers specification
The felt that was laid was done so over several loose nails
The gutters were torn loose during removal of old roof and not repaired
Vents were place over too large of an opening and installed very loose as the nails are only in shingles and not in wood, this is not as the manufacture specifies
After the shingles were laid he had shiners ( shiners are exposed nails on the shingles)
He was advised of these problems the day after the job was completed and given several opportunities to correct these problems and has failed to do so, leaving us no choice but to pursue legal action against him.
