My parents wanted a garage door opener, and suspected a new garage door was also in order. Whitetail was recommended by a general contractor we had worked with before. I explained what my parents wanted, that we would need advice on whether to repaint or replace the door, and that I would be in town from Chicago for a certain number of days. We set up an appointment for the first day I was in town. As the house was at the edge of his service area, about a 45 minute drive, the contractor brought an opener when he came to assess the door. In case the garage door was in good shape, he would save a trip. The garage door was clearly in bad shape, with wooded joinery working loose and soft parts of the wood, and I agreed that a new door was in order. The contractor also noted that the old garage door used extension springs, which are dangerous to anyone nearby when they break, which my parents had in fact recently experienced. The size and make of door that my parents wanted happened to be standard and the contractor had it in stock, so he could install it in a few days, before I returned to Chicago. The quote was less than I expected, and included replacement, removal, and all parts and labor. The contractor removed the old door, springs, and track, installed the new door and opener, and hauled away the refuse. The work was done quickly, competently, and politely. My parents and I were very happy with the outcome and would recommend Whitetail Door Service without reservation.

THEY CAME RIGHT WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD COME. IT ONLY TOOK THEM A HOUR AND A HALF TO FINISH THE JOB. THEY CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY I CALLED THEM. THIS WASN'T THE FIRST TIME I USED THEM. THEY WERE VERY NICE TOME.
