 + -1 moreTerrible- The owner Darren Manacini will tell you a lie to your face and then try and change the paper work Very sloppy work, lead abatement not done per written contract. Paint and plaster all over, nothing was covered. They had to be threatened with filing federal fraud charges to get them to redo most of the work. Electrical work is a nighmare, not inspected by Niles. The crew has returned 3 times since being finished and the work is still not done.
Description of Work: DCD works thru CT consultants who help administer a Community Block Grant. CT sends in an engineer to say what you need, but does not cover all things. then a bid is put out (supposdly) to 9 different contractors. My peticular bid was assigned in 4 days instead of 3 weeks. DCD & CT refused on 6 different occassions to tell me what I was allowed to spend or pick out items. The state of Ohio states you can have median priced faucets , doors light ect. When I picked out my doors ect. I was told I had to pay more money, but a base price was never given. I got suspicious & contact their supervisors in the State program with no satisfaction. The replaced all entry doors but not with the agreed on doors in contract. bathroom faucet x2, fixtures in bath are coming off the wall 1 wk after install. flooring over their unevan underlayment. paint, ramp shower 6 windows
