Called on a Tuesday to have furnace checked.  He had advised that he would call me by the end of the week or early next week to set up an appointment.  I had called him on his cell phone and he possibly was on another job at the time.  The next day on Wednesday morning he called and was able to schedule me that same day.

They are top rated. The service is just outstanding. His name is Bruce Dowler. He worked until 9 pm on a Friday night to get it going. He had started and got into a mess and stayed after hours. I don't think the homebuilder did something correctly and he had to kind of redo everything. He didn't charge any overtime rates. The cost was under $100 for the labor. He was here around 6 hours. We had a minor problem with the furnace and he was going to come over during a snowstorm. By the time he was getting ready to head out the door, we had figured out that the drifts from the major snowstorm of the season were making the furnace shut down. It wasn't getting any air to make the furnace trigger on. His dad was sick that day and he had to run him into town and he was going to come over right after he had taken care of that. We had it figured out by then so he didn't have to come out but he was going to come in a bad snowstorm.

It was during the worst snow storm that we had during the winter here. It turned really cold and we had very high winds. We couldn?t get our furnace to work and we were losing heat regularly. The furnace and AC guy had a medical issue with his elderly father. So, he was taking care of that. After he had his father settled, he was on his way to our house. It all turned out to be well and his father was okay as well. My son and I went through the furnace manual and went through some steps. We made sure that our vent pipes for our furnace were fine. My son and I were able to restart the furnace in the meantime. There was also a time in summer about a year or more ago on a Friday night and it was really hot when our air conditioner went out. It was a newly installed central air conditioner and it ended up being an installation problem from our building contractor. So, the AC guy stayed up till after 8 p.m. on a Friday night to get this going. He was drenched because it was so hot out. He put in the extra time on a Friday to make sure that we had a cool house and everything was working like it should. We went to one of my son?s ball game with him working on it and he thought it was close to fixing it. However, he was still here when we came home after the ball game was over. He was just finishing up. He had a lot more trouble than what he had thought. He went above and beyond the call of duty. Our elderly neighbors down the block here have used him a couple of times. I think they will be in good hands and don?t have to worry with a guy like him should they ever have problems. He puts one of those signs out when he does the work. We have probably spent $400 to $500 for some of the repairs. He didn?t charge me anything for the last repair because my son and I were able to go through the manual and got the furnace to start. We have never had problems with it since then. I would definitely use his services in the future too.
