I knew my car needed a wheel bearing, that's why I took it there. I figured while it was in I'd have him do the sway bar links that were getting bad. I believe when they told me the bad wheel bearing broke my strut and could have broke my ball joint. But I didn't expect it to cost me $950. I was charged $150 for the wheel bearing when the most expensive one I found anywhere was $50. They also tried to tell me my rear struts were bad and needed replaced, though I had those done less than a year before their service to my car. They wanted to charge me over $400 for that. I declined. On top of all that, they broke the center caps to my rims (the piece that covers the lug nuts) and tried to tell me they weren't on the car when I brought it in. I was extremely reluctant to use Emus (they could get my car in that day) because about 5 years before they charged me over $1000 for services on another car I had that when they were done, I couldn't drive the car off the lot. And come to find out a part they supposedly replaced on my car (that was $350) doesn't exist. When I asked to see the broken part, they showed me a hard-foam looking piece with a big hole in the middle. Looked more like part of vacuum.
