Wolfe & Sons Heating & A/C Inc

I was not under contract with Wolfe and Sons but when my furnace went out and my regular service provider could not fit me in, I called Wolfe and Sons and they got me in the same day. The technician was efficient, had the parts on the truck and checked out the system before leaving. The amount I paid included a service contract for next year. I was very impressed.

They were very professional. They squeezed me in their schedule. They touch based with me before they showed up. The workers were very clean and did a great job. Over all they were top notch.

Within an hour of my out-of-hours call, provided workaround to have heat in the house. Ordered parts Completed job as scheduled.

Diagnosed the original problem quickly, fixed it, and then checked entire system and refilled with needed coolant. My only small comment would be that I was not informed of how the serviceman's time was billed; I mistakenly thought that I had committed to one hour's worth of service. Instead, I later found out, the base charged initial time period was shorter, and then additional charges would be made after that initial time was exceeded. Thus, by thinking I'd already paid for an hour's worth of time and having him perform additional work, I actually incurred more charges than if I had let him leave after he'd resolved the original problem. Of course if he'd left immediately, I wouldn't have known I was low on coolant. It's a very minor issue and not a big deal, however, it seems that the serviceman could have corrected my incorrect assumption that I had already paid for his time. Then again, it could have been nothing more than a misunderstanding between the serviceman and me. Regardless, this would not prevent me from using this company again.

They also installed a furnace 3 years ago and an A/C unit this past year. I've been using them for years now. Their technicians seem very professional and knowledgeable. They give their contract customers great deals on service prices.

I called Wolfe Bros. about nine or so in the morning and they scheduled to have a technician at my house the next day. The tech arrived a little earlier than scheduled and got right to work. He was very polite and knowledgeble. He explained what he was doing and how it would improve my air conditioning's cooling ability. He spent a total of approximately 1.5 hours and the total charge was well within the estimate I got over the phone when I arranged the service call. I would absolutely use this company again and would recommend them to others.

Our air conditioner broke when it was really hot. They were quick coming out and fixing it. Everything went fine. We were happy.

I think they are a good, ethical and honest company to deal with.

Vince was great to work with up front, and then Chris and Joey were very professional during installation. Would definitely recommend Wolfe & Sons again for HVAC work. My new AC and furnace were a great value from them.

My AC stopped working on Thursday night. I called an left a message on the answering machine around 8:00 PM that evening. On Friday morning around 8:00 I called Wolfe and Sons because I thought perhaps they hadn't gotten my message however the man I talked to said he was about to call me. In any case they were completely booked up until Monday however since I have one old pug who can not deal with heat very well and since I am a repeat customer the SERVICE MANAGER offerred to come out to fix my AC after hours. On a Friday! I can not tell you how much I appreciated what they did for me. Sometimes I wonder why all companies don't act like this one. I strongly recommend them.

They responded quickly to the inital phone call, scheduled the work in a timely manner, and performed the initial installation quickly with follow-up work done quickly and professionally. The bottom line is that the entire process went very well.

Great! I've used Wolfe & Sons for many years and am always happy with their professionalism, problem solving ability, and quality of work! I have never been happy with our thermostat and asked Ed if he had any ideas. He had a new thermostat (different from ours) in his truck. I bought it, and he installed it on the spot! Will definitely call in the fall!

We had a very good experience from start to finish. John Wolfe (the son of the owner) worked with us to pick the right heating and air conditioning system to switch from all electric to gas heat. He was knowledgable, friendly and courteous. The installation was made in a very short time and with absolutely no disruption. The would absolutely have them back for any HVAC work.

They were awesome, professional, responsive, and communicated well. They deserve the good reputation that they came with.

They got here within a couple of hours of being called. The person who came out for the job just did the minimal he had to do; he didn?t try and oversell anything or do anything he didn?t have to do. He did what was needed to be done and he didn?t take a long time to do it.

They respond to questions. Their service people sometimes differ on maintenance suggestions but they do their best and are reliable.

Met with estimator one day who explained my options in furnaces. Furnace installed a week or 2 later. Installers arrived on time - completed installation in the amount of time they said they would and they cleaned up after themselves. Excellent experience. I have also used them in August when my air conditioner quit working - repair man came within an hour of my call and fixed air conditioner quickly.

A/C unit wasn't blowing. Called Wolfe & Sons at end of day. The next morning they called and set up an appointment for that day or the next. R. Hoffman came out on time for the appointment. Tested and determined everything was receiving power as far as the control board. Needed to order a control board. Came back in two days with a replacement control board which solved the problem. It allowed power to flow through the whole unit without any other problems showing up further down the line. When he finished, he gave me many tips on minor things I could do to improve the efficiency of my unit, such as opening and closing a duct on the HVAC unit in the basement, according to the season. He went outside to check the temp of the air blowing out and noticed the rubber insulating the pipe was old (from 1987) and cracked. He applied an additional layer of hosing around the pipe, directly over the old insulation, to maintain the temperature, improving it's efficiency. I felt he did a very thorough job and went beyond what needed to be done, because he paid attention to the details as if it were his own HVAC system. Thank you!

I've always had a good relationship with them, they do their job as expected. They replaced the filters as needed and everything was fine. I've been using them for 10 years.

They were very prompt and pleasant to work with.

Columbia gas "discovered" a leak in my gas connection. They had to shut the furnace off and it could not be restarted without some extensive work. My furnace was 30 years old so I decided to purchase a new high efficiency furnace. Wolfe came in, quoted me a decent price, and had the furnace installed the next day. The workers did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves. Considering that it was the coldest part of winter I did not expect to get such a reasonable price. I was very pleased. I later had some minor problems with the controls turning the furnace on and Wolfe responded immediately and corrected the problem

Our furnace stopped working. We called them because they had installed and serviced the original furnace from 12 years ago. We had always been pleased with their work and price and they again solved our problem. They gave us options from repair to replacement and explained each choice. The technician was very knowledgeable and one of the owners personally helped answer our questions. We always check prices and services in the competition on any item we buy, and Wolfe and Sons was cost effective. Plus we have had a 12 year service history with them and have always been extremely satisfied.
