I specifically explained the issue to the person who scheduled our appointment, and he said he understood. The service person came to our house, looked around, took some pictures, and told my wife that he couldn't help us with the particular issue we are having (the same one I spelled out to the person who scheduled). He said he needed someone more senior and he would have us rescheduled. We waited for the first appointment with junior, and now we are waiting to hear about the next appointment. No thank you. We are moving to a professional company who wants to help. Luckily, our neighbors have had the same issue and their AC company diagnosed and fixed the issue in one visit. Going with that company moving forward!

Called provider in the morning and they sent a repairman out at the time they said they would arrive. The repairman was friendly and explained what was wrong with the furnace. He gave us options for the thermostat and was able to repair the same day. I would definitely use this company again.

While they had a full day of appointments, service manager John said that he'd try to work me into their very busy schedule. They had a full day of appointments, with others in similar out of heat needs. John was able to work a miracle and sent technician Ed that day. Ed is familiar with our heating systems and quickly diagnosed. Ed came back the next business day with the parts and efficiently repaired. I appreciate the high level of service provided by the Wolfe and Sons team. They'll definitely get my consideration when it's time to replace our AC unit.

Very professional sales presentation. Installation was completed in one day. Good workmanship and cleanup. Inspector from the city found a minor issue, and Wolfe was back here the next day to fix it. Price was fair. Looking forward to a toasty winter!

Went perfectly. Called for estimate, and they were out in just a few days. They were out on a Monday for the estimate, and the work was completed Wednesday of the same week. On time, professional, and did a great job. Would highly recommend Wolfe & Sons. We will definitely use them again in the future.

We talked to a number of companies and selected Wolfe and sons because we felt they were both very professional and also had the best solution to our problem. They laid out all of our options and were very good at spelling out the benefits of each system. When it came to installing our system, they really went above and beyond. It wasn't an easy job in our quirky old house. But they took care of everything and were out of there in a couple of days. If I had one complaint and it's a minor one, they left a little bit of a mess. But we would definitely use them again. They're a responsive company and I feel their rates are also quite reasonable.

The price was good. He knew what he was talking about and he sold me what I needed.

When my heat pump stopped working, I looked for estimates from companies with high rankings on Angieslist. Among these companies was Wolfe and Sons, who were referred to me by Greene Solutions (also reviewed by me). John Wolfe Jr. came out to my house after work so I wouldn't have to take an afternoon off from work. He is very personable and he patiently talked me through all the options available and answered all of my many questions. John's quote was very competitive and he added some duct work in addition to the installation itself in the total price. I knew that I was in good hands and had them perform the work. Wolfe and Sons showed up right on time to begin the work. The workers were very professional. They were very careful with removing the old furnace from my basement--they covered all floors, were careful not to touch the walls, and even wore coverings over their shoes every time they entered my house. They explained the work they would do prior to starting it, and the installation looks great! I now have a quiet and efficient heat pump that can actually heat my house. Wolfe and Sons are top notch and I highly recommend giving them a call if you need heating or cooling work done. This company is family owned and will make sure to treat you right. FYI--I had John Wolfe Jr. also schedule duct cleaning for me prior to installation. That was a great choice also. Kenny THOROUGHLY cleaned all my vents and was good company to boot. You should definitely get your ducts cleaned by Wolfe Air Duct Cleaning if you haven't done so. You cannot imagine how much stuff accumulates in your vents over the years.

Within two days a technician replaced the entire unit at no charge to me. I use Worthington Air as my regular HVAC technicians, and they are also wonderful. I intend to continue using Worthington Air in the future, but I would certainly give Wolfe and Sons my business if I did not already have a good relationship with Worthington Air.

Booked air duct cleaning and new HVAC install prior to move (previous owner had cat and I am allergic). Air ducts cleaned one day new HVAC the next. Everything done on schedule as Planned.

They arrived on time and got right to work. I believe it only took 5 hours from start to finish which included clean up. I had questions about different parts of the system and they offered information on the system and how it works while the instalation was in progress. They gave me a quick lesson on how to use all the features of the system and how to get the best results in the settings. The crew was awesome!

Wolfe has been to the house a couple of times for service/repairs and also installed a new AC unit. They are always on time, polite, knowledgeable, and do a very good job - sometimes going above and beyond. My only complaint is that there can sometimes be a long wait for a service call so that I end up going to someone else if I can't wait. With regard to the Lennox AC unit I purchased, it is louder than I expected, and I wish I had been better informed by the sales person since it is right beside my screened porch. Otherwise, it is as represented and works just fine.

The company replaced both inside and outside components with a higher efficiency unit. Their price was excellent (about $500 less than their next competitor). Their work was very well done, and their employees acted in a very professional manner. Will certainly use them again. **As part of their written proposal** the company quoted that we were eligible for a $500 AEP rebate if we went with a more expensive, and higher SEER unit. This rebate was a significant part of the reason why I went with this unit. All other HVAC companies I have worked with offered to help fill out and submit any eligible rebates (this is a somewhat complex process). However, once this work was done I was essentially on my own. I haven't got the rebate yet (still early), but I hope there are no issues with it. My opinion is that if the company is going to quote the rebate, it should take responsibility for our getting it. Else, just point us to the AEP site and let us know that a rebate may be available. This issue is why I downgraded them in the professionalism category. But see below. *** Update: We received the $500 rebate from AEP ***

Great. The serviceman called ahead, and waited for me and my husband as we came from the doctor's office, (he was early). He explained everything that he was doing. He seemed to stay for the appropriate time for checking 2 air conditioning units, both inside and outside. He had to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to the upstairs furnace, and then go downstairs to the basement to check the downstairs furnace. Then he had to go outside and jump over the fence to do the outside unit. He was still smiling at the end of the project.

have now scheduled another rental. My tenant who is a perfectionist did not like the last repair company. She found and raved about how meticulous the repair man was cleaning and explaining to her about the newer furnace. The tenant recommended that I dump the old repair service and use Wolfe & Sons. they are a smaller company and it might take a little longer to get them scheduled. Plan ahead and get a service contract.

Their worker Kenny was great. I have not cleaned my air ducts since I moved in many years ago. Kenny did not make me feel bad about how filthy the ducts were, though I know that he was working so hard that he was sweating the air ducts were pretty dirty. He arrived on time, and he spent over 7 hours making sure that ever vent was cleaned, and every cover was replaced correctly.

It went very well, despite the bitterly cold day. They plan to return to make sure the AC works when the weather gets warmer.
