Wire 1 Electric

My cousin owns "wire 1". He promised my brother and I that he would get us a "Generac 20 KW Generator and switch panel at a discount. He gave us a price for the generator, switch, pad and install date of no more than ten days. Wire 1 Electric cashed my check mid October. Here it is March 18th and the generator was only delivered on December 8th 2013. The propane has been hooked up since December 10th 2013 Not only is the Generac Not hooked up, the last time Wire 1 owner Rick DeMatteo was over here late February he gave me a "receipt" for the Generator that was "doctored" or forged to show a false price. My brother and I both confronted him after he tried to take back the bogus receipt without us knowing..unfortunately for him, I opened the "clasped envelope" before he left, discovering that he tried to steal it back
Today March 18th and Wire 1 Elecrtic, will not return my phone calls and we discovered Rick DeMatteo has taken both sets of keys to the "Generac" generator and left it locked up! We an not now get the generator hooked up by a computation electrician.

Horrible, anyone who handles him money needs to have all the receipts on hand, he cannot be trusted at this time. While he is meticulous in his work, the Financial aspect has been a disaster. I don't know where our experience will lead this whole thing but we have sent him a certified letter as a first step in getting our things into our control and if we don't get a positive response, we will have no choice but to contact the District Attorney's Office for further action. Given the amount of money involved, it likely classisifes this fraudulent activity as a felony.
