VILLAGE DESIGN

Patrick Roberts is a very nice guy, and we were giving him a lot of work.  However, for each project, he just never seemed to finish -always some minor issues, and he would start the next project.  Eventually we realized that he was too far behind and would never catch up.  He failed to show up on days he was supposed to.   Used staff that were novices.  So, we fired him.  Also, he did an awful job installing and staining wood floors.  He never got the stain right - lots of brush strokes, etc.  Floors dont meet the walls and never installed the molding he was supposed to do.  Left dents in floor.  Probably just too big of a job for him.

THE COMPANY WAS HIRED TO DESIGN AND BUILD A BATHROOM AND LAUNDRY FACILITY ON THE SECOND FLOOR OF THE HOUSE. IT IS A RENOVATION PROJECT GONE BAD NIGHTMARE. THE PROBLEM STARTED WHEN HE REFUSED TO DO WORK FOR OVER TWO MONTHS AND JUST DISAPPEARED WITH NO PHONE CALLS. THAT OCCURRED JUST AT THE TIME WHEN WE HAD PRE-PAID SOME WORK. WE WERE FORCED TO FILE SUIT AGAINST THE COMPANY SINCE THE DESIGN WORK WAS NEVER DONE, THE PAPERS NEVER TURNED OVER TO US, AND THE CONSTRUCTION FAR LESS THAN STANDARD. NO WALL, FLOOR, NOR DOOR TOUCHED BY THIS COMPANY WAS PLUM, SQUARE, NOR LEVEL. THE NEW WALL CONSTRUCTED FOR THE LAUNDRY FACILITY LEANS WHILE THE FLOOR ON WHICH IT SITS WAS "LEVELED" WITH CONCRETE, ONLY IT HAS A HUGE SWAY IN IT. THE TILE WORK LINES DON'T EVEN MATCH. IT IS A NIGHTMARE.
