Phone Service - Cellular
They nickel and dime you with a ton of extra fees and I would switch if I didn't have unlimited plan with them that I wouldn't be able to get back.

The service is good, but you pay more for it. They do not get an A because part of it is the pricing and part of it is from the policies that are frustrating like if you needed additional data for a month and you bump it up, it is hard to sort of bump it back down.

They need to lower the prices. I have never had to call them with a problem. I would go to another lower cost company.

We have four smart phones on the plan and it's $280 a month. What I like the most about them is the reliability of their signal and service. Their customer service can improve by communicating more and being easier to work with. I feel that price-wise they're a little higher than their competitors. Everyone is always very friendly and nice.

Not well. He opened up a line that had been closed. Now I'm paying $40 a month for a line I don't use.

The experience was not so great. It depends on who you talk to that day; it could be a good day or a bad day.

I use their service because they have the best coverage. It is far better than the other providers. Their prices are fair, and their quality is good.

We have been with them for almost 2 years. Their coverage is not as great as it is supposed to be. We have two phones on our service. We pay per month. I know it is expensive than more so than what we were paying with another provider. I have a contract with them, so I will be using them in the future. The contract is a 2-year contract that expires in October.

We have been very happy with them. I don’t have any complains about them. They seemed to be professional when I dealt with them. I would use them in the future.

Early October, 2011 I after receiving a billing notice I went on Verizon's website to schedule payment. I noticed that I had an outstanding payment for September. I thought that was unusual as I am very consistent with paying bills timely. The bill gave me an option to pay September and October November 2nd-which I promptly scheduled through my bank. October 22, 2011, I received a message notifying me I had 24 hours to pay the September amount or my service would be interrupted. Upon speaking to the rep. I told him the billing information was conflicting-why give the option to pay in full November if they were going to interrupt service? Of course he could not answer that! When I reported I couldn't recall receiving the billing notice for September, he was unable to give me a date that Verizon sent the notice to me. Therefore I had to pay a late fee for a payment I didn't realize I had not paid!
Overall, I always had good service with Verizon Wireless. I was very disappointed with this situation.

Verizon has been harassing me over a payment I sent them in July that they did not apply to my account. In spite of being provided proof of payment by my Bank, they continue to call me and send threatening emails. The countless people I've talked to there have acknowledged that they have a problem to solve, yet their organization and computers continue to treat me like a bad guy. The result is that I have terminated our service with them and changed to AT&T. As of September 13, they still have not credited my account and are now threatening to "discontinue my service", even though I terminated! I'm creating this report to inform the membership of how inept the Verizon organization can be. The people are very nice and try to accommodate my situation, yet seem enslaved by the depth of their automation. They have escalated my case but it does not seem to help. I actually looked up the number of their Corp HQ and asked to speak to the CEO, and was told "there's no way he'll talk to you." The stress over this actually motivated me to pay $400 in early termination fees. I cannot do business with a company whose people agree I do not owe them money but their computers cannot "back off." Sounds like the old movie "Forban Project". As it stands today, I have no idea who to turn to within Verizon and predict I'll just have to pay the $181 for July service twice just to make them go away. This is a customer service failure suitable for a textbook somewhere.

It's been OK. I think that they're designed to charge you things that you either don't know or care about. I think they target the young people; I'm 50 years-old -- the money comes out of daddy's pocket. I hate to go into the store -- every time they can fix something else for another $5 a month, and we can get unlimited this and unlimited that. It's kind of crazy. As far as the pricing, you really have to watch it. They're priced competitively; it's OK. It's just that I don't like doing business with them. But guess what? You don't have any choice.

We are required to have Verizon because of my job. The pricing plans are great and the phones are affordable. However, where I live in UA, the coverage is sketchy. There are more dropped calls than there should be. The last two phones I have received from them have been disappointing and have had battery problems.

No one in this company seems to have any interest in taking ownership of my problem. It took an hour of waiting in the store to even speak to anyone. When I explained to the guy in the store that I had already talked to customer service, he just shrugged his shoulders.
