UPSCALE CLEANING

They come every other week. Four hours of general housecleaning for $80. I have an ongoing arrangement with them.

See above - they have been working for me at least one year.

A few days later, Margaret called to explain.  She said I know this isn't your problem, and went on to explain that the daughter and her son lives with the mom and dad.  The Father hasn't worked in a long time and just got a job.  They live in Mentor Ohio and needed to get the daughters son off the bus since the girls father couldn't do it any longer!  SERIOUSLY?    Margaret said they will do a good job for you next week  SERIOUSLY?

I told Margaret there won't be a next week.  I explained they have been cleaning for us for 2 years or more and said they could have asked to change the date.  They could have come back.  I asked her "Why did they take my money for a job they didn't do?"
That is stealing in my opinion.  What would they have done if they did a great job and I didn't pay them?  I gave them a pass when her mom was sick but they took advantage of me again. 

Margaret was good and replaced a new rug that their sweeper damaged early on in the business arrangement, so I gave her more than one chance.   I'm still upset and feel violated what they did to us.   If she was a good business woman, she would have done a follow up or a surprise visit from time to time since there had been  issues.   They tood a full pay for doing 30 minutes worth of work.

 

The intial cleaning was $160, it involved a total cleaning including wiping down the woodwork. Margaret visited and gave us an estimate. Subsequent cleaning have been less than $100. I am quite satisfied. The only hiccup is that you have to provide for the cleaning supplies, which they seem to use very generously, so you need to keep resupplying.

Hired upscale cleaning to clean my home on a regular basis. First time whet smooth, but on the second appointment the maids caused damage to my home, and the owner took no responsibility. She has been very nasty and has been calling me names. We are in the last stages of dealing with the bbb, but so far no change in her attitude.

LIKE EVERY OTHER CLEANING SERVICE, THEY STARTED OUT STRONG, BUT THE QUALITY OF THE HOUSECLEANING WORK QUICKLY DETERIORATED. MORE IMPORTANTLY, MANAGEMENT HAS MAJOR BOOKKEEPING PROBLEMS, LEADING TO NUMEROUS PAYMENT DISPUTES. THEY ARE PAID BY THE HOUR, BUT THEY DO NOT KEEP CLEANING FOR THE TOTAL NUMBER OF HOURS THAT I PAY FOR. EVEN WHEN I'M HOME WHEN THEY CLEAN, THEY'LL SUDDENLY ANNOUNCE THAT THEY'RE 'DONE' BEFORE THEIR TIME IS UP AND LEAVE. PLUS, THEY DON'T DO A VERY GOOD JOB OF CLEANING, AND THEY'VE BECOME UNRELIABLE.

THE CLEANERS DID SOME DAMAGE IN MY HOME AND DID NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY. THE OWNER IS TELLING ME THAT IT IS BETWEEN ME AND HER INSURANCE CO. ALTHOUGH I HAVE NO RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO CLEAN MY HOUSE TODAY AND CANCELLED WITH NO NOTICE. THINGS HAPPEN WHEN CLEANING, BUT THE CO. SHOULD HAVE ACCEPTED RESPONSIBILITY. I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK, AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS!

I HAVE USED THEM FOR A FEW YEARS FOR 3 HOURS OF CLEANING EVERY OTHER WEEK. I HAVE BEEN HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE. THEY HAVE BEEN RESPONSIVE WHEN I HAVE ASKED THEM TO CLEAN CERTAIN THINGS.
