I didn't take it back to complain about it because I feel like they would have not believed me.

When we dropped off the car at Jefff Schmitt, there was much confusion. It was towed in, and the staff had to move the car. One mechanic didn't know that you had to push the clutch while it's in neutral (it's a manual transmission) to move the car. However, once I approved the price, the service was very fast (which was great), and it was done by the end of the day. And the price was less than they quoted me for. However, I miss the team at Bob Daniels. They took care of me for 10 years.

This particular visit, we purchased our third new vehicle from Bob Daniels (fourth new vehicle overall). When we visited, our usual salesperson was not available, so the General Manager, Dean Ray, took the time to assist us. I feel that we agreed upon a fair price (better value than the internet quote I got from another area dealer), and Dean addressed all of our questions. We will continue to go back to them. We use their service department as well - $40 for oil change and tire rotation. Tyler takes very good care of us.

They are alright, just the same as any other dealer I guess.

Their prices are in line with everyone else. I use them because I bought a Buick from them. That's where I take my car to get serviced. They have treated me fair and right. They have taken good care of my car.

They are the dealership I bought my cars from. I have had very little work done on the car. I spent $25 for the oil change. They are doing a good job. They have done nothing to me that would make me walk away from them.

Two weeks ago we had the head gasket replaced on our 2001 Pontiac Aztec. The estimate provided was approx $1600, although when the work was performed the bill was closer to $2000. As soon as we arrived to pick it up we could tell there was a problem. The car was making a high-pitching squealing sound and the power seat wouldn't work. We alerted the Service Manager who then kept it another night. When we picked it up the next day, everything seemed OK. A day later the squealing returned and the gas gauge wasn't working (it fluctuated from full to empty wildly). Due to our busy schedules, we couldn't get it back to the garage until just yesterday. When we took it back yesterday we were advised that "a belt was worn and needed to be replaced". When asked why it wasn't replaced during the work two weeks earlier, we were advised that to "save us money" they don't use new belts. So, they offered to replace the belt for the price of the part but not charge us labor. When asked about the fuel gauge, they advised that it "must be coincidence" that it stopped working after they had just performed work on the car. We were quoted a price of $48 for the belt and approx $400 for the fuel gauge. We told them to fix the belt. They advised that it would be ready that afternoon. We allowed them to keep it overnight (again, busy schedules) and returned this morning to find that it had not even been look at, and that it wouldn't be ready until "later today". We asked for our keys, advised that we would never use them again, and left in our squealing car that has a busted fuel gauge sensor. We will never use this dealership for auto service again, nor will we ever even consider buying a car there. Our car may be a lemon, but sticking to your estimate and having work completed when promised are essential elements to a reputable business. Bob Daniels did neither, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

They insisted on dealing with my wife (ignoring me and my questions) and telling her that they could find nothing that would be making the noises. I took my car home since it was under warranty and it happened two more times over the course of a few months with the last time stranding me at work since the transmission totally crapped out at 24K miles. I informed them that I would be contacting GM and informing them as to how poor the service was. When I picked up my car the transmission worked and their diagnosis was, " we just did some work" refusing to be specific.

They indicated that they would be back to get me when the car was done. I called them several times to see when they would be by to pick me up. They told me that the car was finished and that I was on the list to be picked up. About 10 mins before they closed I called and they said that it was too late to come get me and would be there the next morning. I needed the car that night, they told me that if I paid over the phone with a credit card that they would leave the car outside for me to pick up. When I got there it was not outside. I found my service man who said my phone number was ringing busy. My husband was on hold with the dealership and he had my credit card info. I finally had to call my daughter and have the charge put on her card in order to get my car.

They didn't have what I wanted, but they were able to find exactly what I wanted at another place in town and got it to me in a timely manner. It was clean. They explained everything well. The salesman did a great job and took time to help me out.

THE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (MARK--I CAN'T REMEMBER HIS LAST NAME) WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL AND THE WORK WAS DONE QUICKLY AND AT A FAIR PRICE. MARK ALSO CALLED MY ATTENTION TO TWO ITEMS THAT WILL NEED ATTENTION IN THE NEAR FUTURE, BUT DID NOT PRESSURE ME TO HAVE THE WORK DONE IMMEDIATELY.

I AM SURPRISED THAT IN THIS DAY AND AGE THERE IS STILL AN HONEST REPAIR BUSINESS: THEY FIX CARS WELL THE FIRST TIME, PROFESSIONAL FRONTMAN MR. CORNELL, CLEAN PREMISES, NO-NONSENSE ORGANIZATION, THEY HAVE SHUTTLE TO YOUR HOME, REPAIR WITHOUT DELAYS, AND THE BEST OF ALL, I DON'T FEEL THAT I WAS TAKEN FOR A RIDE FINANCIALLY. I WAS GETTING SICK OF SHOPS RIPPING ME OFF. AND I AM WRITING ABOUT A DEALERSHIP HERE. FROM ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE, I WAS WORRIED THAT DEALERSHIPS CHARGE TOO MUCH AND TAKE A LONG TIME TO SERVICE A CAR. NOT THIS ONE. THAT PUTS BUYING A BUICK IN A WHOLE NEW PERSPECTIVE. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THEY FIXED MY CARS. THE FIRST ONE WAS AN OLDSMOBILE 98 FOR $700 OF REPAIRS. NOW, IT WAS BUICK ROADMASTER.

I ASSUME THAT THE WORK IS FINE. THEY DID NOT CHARGE THIS TIME FOR THE OIL CHANGE, BECAUSE THERE WAS A SCHEDULING PROBLEM THE LAST TIME THEY DID IT.

I HAD AN ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON AND THEY DID ALL OF THE REPAIRS AND FOUND SOME OTHER THINGS I NEEDED DONE. DID THE BREAKS, AND REPLACED A SET OF SHOCKS. THEY KEPT ME INFORMED AND LET ME KNOW OF ANY PROBLEMS THEY FOUND, THEY CALLED ME BACK NUMEROUS TIMES TO TELL ME WHAT WAS GOING ON. I LIKE THE FACT THAT THEY ARE A BUICK AND A GMC DEALER BECAUSE I HAVE ONE OF EACH. JULIE IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS VERY PUNCTUAL AND SEEMED CONCERNED, AND SHE SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT. THE MECHANICS WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AS WELL.
