TruGreen Lawn Care - 5665

I have just cancelled my service. This is the second year in a row that they have scheduled an aerate and overseed without my permission. I have asked for a two day notice for lawn service and they can't even do that! Last time two times they came to fertilize they yard it the grass was severely burnt. I called and they sent someone to fix the burnt spots, and he acted like he had no idea what he was doing, and of course the issue was not resolved. This company does not have good customer service. I am cancelling all services and will never use them again!

Signed me up for services without my permission and charged me. They told me they?re unwilling to do anything about it. I told them they could go back and listen to the sales call where I told them no to the services, they said they would. They called me back days later and basically said they forgot they don?t keep records of phone calls and the best they could do was a $280 refund, about 10 percent of the stolen money back. I called back and told them that wasn?t okay I wanted to cancel my service and was told they would have someone reach out. They never reached back out and tried to continue their service a week later. Yard also looks worse than ever. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO

Hired this company to come take care of the weeds in our yard, and I wish I hadn't because it could have cost my dogs their lives. On Friday, we were told that the company would come spray our weeds and gave us a time estimate between 1:00-6:00 p.m. That was fine by us because we were going to be home all day; however, the individual that sprayed our weeds never came to pur door to tell us he arrived and immediately went into my front yard to spray and opened the gate to my backyard to spray without our acknowledgment. I let my two small puppies outside after this was done, and didn't realize they had sprayed until it was too late and my puppies ate some of the grass. Both of them became ill and had to have their blood drawn to making sure their is no internal damage, all due to the laziness/incompetence of this company. I don't understand if you're going to ring my phone 3-4 times a day every day for my business, why could you not be courteous enough to call or come to my door?

Trugreen did an excellent job on my lawn in about half a year of service thus far. They aerated and overseeded my lawn and now it looks like a baseball field. It is so thick, green and healthy. So far they've only come out once this spring and sprayed weed killer and the weeds died inside of 48 hours. I have no weeds whatsoever. Their best service IMO is the aeration and overseeding. Prior to their service, my lawn grew at different rates and lengths. After overseeding, now my entire lawn grows in evenly and looks like a thick shag carpet. No more high and low spots of grass. The overseeding essentially takes over your current grass and replaces it with the newly grown seeds. I will not renew my plan because they did so well during the 1st years subscription that now I know how to maintain it going forward with other spray-on fertilizers/weed killers.

Absolutely terrible, I was told I would receive a call 24 hours prior to my appointment in 5-10 business days. Waited over a month and nothing.. Called into customer service complained.. Was then told my appointment was scheduled the following Monday.. 10/31. No Appointment, No call, Never showed up. Will never try to use tru-green. Had no problem charging my card up front

TrueGreen did a horrendous job on our lawn. Our yard has never looked this bad, we watered, mowed and cared for it as instructed. We went two months between treatments this summer. The costumer service argues that the poor quality of our lawn was due to the hot conditions this summer. Our other neighbors with lawn services do not have the same abundance of weeds. We will not be returning costumers and would never recommend their services to friends and family.

Not well. I could do better job. Don’t hire them, you will regret it!

Been using them for a couple of years now. They are very responsive to my request.

We have used their full lawn care services for many years, but this year it all went downhill. They over fertilized our lawn and killed the grass in many areas. In addition, my yard was FULL of weeds throughout. I tried to speak with someone locally, but all I could ever get was their call center. When I called to cancel my account, they didn't care at all. Guess they must have plenty of business.

Treatment did not curtail the weeds in our yard. Provider would not return my calls.

Am hiring another company to see if results are better.

I use them for pest control also. The main thing I use them for is the fertilization. They come several times a year. It is fertilization and weed control. When you pay in advance, you get 10% off which is a really nice thing. When they are done, they hang something on your door knob about what they have done so that you have that for your records. It takes about 20 minutes.

They are reliable. They have things that they recommend of how often they should come. I usually have them come a little less often. Let's say if they recommend 6 treatments, I get 4. I find it good enough. I am pleased that they have that flexibility. I have not used anybody else. I keep using them so I must think they are adequate. I don't want to deal with these poisons that most companies deal with. It takes about 20 minutes. There is a big truck but one person and a hose that comes up from their truck and spray basically.

It was fine. I have them service my lawn on a regular basis. That's every month or however many treatments I get. It takes place all summer long; from Spring until Fall. On punctuality I don't set up any time for them. Not at this time, it doesn't come to mind; anything that stands out or they should work on.

I think they?re okay. I?ve had them for several years, so that should tell you that I?m satisfied with them. I?ve never used anybody else, I have nothing to compare them with. I pay all at once, once a year for both lawn and shrubs. It?s 2 separate fees and it?s a hefty price, but I just don?t recall what it is.?I had problems several years ago with some trees that weren?t surviving. I asked a few of their tree experts and didn?t get a satisfactory answer, so they brought out some experts and looked at this and that. The next thing I know, they brought me a new tree. So, don?t know if they were responsible for the problem, but they certainly tried to make good.?I?ve never compared them to anything else. I know they?re expensive, but are they as expensive? I don?t know! Mostly their responsiveness is very, very good, occasionally when I?ve asked for feedback it took them a while to get to me. They?re not on a schedule or a schedule that I?m aware of.

I am really pleased with them.

I've had them for the last few years.  I'm never here when they come out, they just do what they do and leave the thing on the door.  If there is something that is not to my satisfactory, I'll call them, but I've actually never had to call.  My understanding is, the pricing is going to go up, so there's other competitors out here, but I haven't switched as of yet.

We have a service agreement with them. We have to fight with them to get stuff done, but they do it. They're very punctual, they do come right away and often. 

We are looking into other providers at this point, we just have to call them and now that it's spring it's getting more urgent. They automatically re-start the contract from last year so that's why TruGreen came last week.
