Great! Had a problem with a vacuum hose getting cracked during the replacement of the air filter. I brought the car back in - a no hassle fix and they even gave me a ride to work.

About a year ago we purchased 4 new Tires for my wife's daughter's car. At that time we also purchased Tire Discounters's and quot;FREEDOMPLAN/ROAD HAZARD WARRANTYand quot;. Tire Discounters's BIG promotional deal is when anybody buys 4 new Tires the car wheel is included as part of the sales package. Part of the and quot;FREEDOMPLAN/ROAD HAZARD WARRANTYand quot; and Company recommended services by Tire Discounters's is to have the car brought in about every 5000 miles to have the Tires checked and rotated on the car to extend the Tire Tread life. The car was dropped off for the first recommended Tire checked and rotation of the Tires. At this first service interval we had noticed excessive wear on the outside of the Tire. We voiced our concerns about this and asked to the the cars alignment rechecked as an cautionary measure. After all services were completed, we asked about the cars online at the time of pick up. The service person at the service desk told us the alignment checked out okay and nothing to worry about. We are now at present date Monday, November 19, 2012, my wife's daughter picked up a nail in her back Tire. Once the spare tire was installed, we headed to Tire Discounters to have the Tire repaired or replaced. Again we brought up the fact the front Tires on her car were wearing out excessively on the outside of the Tire and asked to have the alignment rechecked. We were told the Tire with the nail was damaged beyond repair because of the location the nail was at in the tires tread. The service person told us they would need to order one from one of the other stores because the warehouse was out of stock on that particular model tire. The service person told us they would need to call us because they needed to ship the tire from another store and they wouldn't received the tire until Wednesday of that week. With the up-and-coming holiday, Wednesday came and went and it wasn't until Friday we remembered Tire Discounters was supposed to call us on Wednesday when the Tire got in. We called them Friday afternoon and they told us the Tire was in and we could come down any time to have it installed. My wife's daughter arrived to have the new Tire installed and have the front-end alignment rechecked again. Some background, I am a ASE Master technician with over 10 years of automotive experience, so when service personnel at a repair facilities start lying about problems that don't exist, their lies are easily uncovered. This time Tire Discounters did find that her cars alignment was out of specifications. In the past, I have always brought in my car to have the Tires checked, rotated and have the cars alignment checked and adjusted at no additional cost because of the and quot;FREEDOMPLAN/ROAD HAZARD WARRANTYand quot;. So now they are charging us to fix the car's alignment which apparently was NEVER done corrected to begin with and if we don't spend the money to have the alignment done by them, this will void the and quot;FREEDOMPLAN/ROAD HAZARD WARRANTYand quot; on the Tires. After a lengthy 20 minute discussion about the car's alignment and how it wasn't done correctly the first time, the service person refused any and all solutions and would not accept responsibility for poor service and poor customer relations. The service person tried all the common excuses to explain away the excessive tire wear on the car and just say, ok just this once we will fix the alignment.

We purchased a set of tires from them two months ago and I ran over a nail and I was able to take it back and they fixed these free of charge for me even though I didn't have a puncture warranty. They were able to get me right in and I feel like we got a really good deal on the tires we purchased two months ago. I was very impressed with their customer service!

The old saying that you get what you paid for is certainly true here. In less than two years, the BF Goodrich tires on my wife's car are shot. All four tires are worn excessively on the inside. It looks like a definite tire defect. When calling Tire Discounters about what credit I could get on a new set of tires since I had at least 25,000 miles left on the tire warranty, they stated they could not honor any warranty since I had my tires rotated elsewhere. Even though I could show proof of the rotation, they would not accept any responsibility, even though the technician stated to my wife that those tires that they installed have a history of unusual tread failure and he wouldn't sell those tires to us today.
