WE HAD BEEN SAVING TO MOVE FROM OUR FHA LOAN AND STARTER HOUSE TO OUR ''GROWN UP'' HOUSE. THIRD FEDERAL HAD A SPECIAL 15% DOWN LOAN THAT ALLOWED US TO GET INTO THE HOUSE WE WANTED BEFORE WE HAD THE STANDARD 20%. AS WE APPROACHED THAT 20% IN OUR CURRENT HOUSE, THIRD FEDERAL WORKED WITH US TO TAKE THE STEPS NECESSARY TO MAKE THE 20% AND GET INTO A STANDARD FIXED RATE LOAN, INCLUDING GETTING THE APPRAISAL DOLLAR WE DESERVED FOR OUR HOME IMPROVEMENTS. WE REFINANCED IN THE PAST YEAR INTO A CONVENTIONAL 20% MORTGAGE AT A LOW FIXED INTEREST RATE. AS WE SIT AND WATCH INTEREST RATES BEGIN RISING, WE'RE VERY HAPPY CUSTOMERS TO HAVE GOTTEN TO WHERE WE ARE TODAY! THIRD FEDERAL HAS ALWAYS BEEN A PARTNER IN THAT EFFORT. I LISTED 0 FOR AMOUNT PAID, BECAUSE I'M NOT SURE HOW TO ESTIMATE WHAT THEY ARE ''PAID'' FOR THE REFINANCE.
