We've been a "one and a half career" household for a while now....with a young child and large-ish dog that is a Olympic-level shedder.   It's been a challenge, but we felt we'd been keeping up with everything.  Until, that is, I went and got a full time job, and turned us into a "two and a half career" household.  Since then, the house has gotten completely away from us, and we decided it was time to get professional help.  We consulted a number of local cleaning services (some larger, some as small as House Dr.), in search of an initial "deep clean" and ongoing bimonthly cleaning visits.  From the moment we finished the walkthrough with Raven, though, we had our fingers crossed that the house hadn't scared her off.  She was professional, detail oriented, clear in her communications, and full of helpful information right from the start.  
We did receive some lower quotes, from small, local businesses as well as large, national chains....but also many quotes that were higher.  And in most cases, those companies couldn't promise consistency in the cleaning team that would be doing the work.  Because we won't always be here when they're in our home, knowing it's the same people visit to visit really mattered to us.  We felt that Raven's quote was right on target, and reflected an honest estimate of the work and a reasonable valuation of her own expertise.  We'd far prefer starting off that way than with a low-ball estimate that gets our business, but goes up after we've signed a contract.  Or, worse, means that the house is quickly and incompletely cleaned so the company can make ends meet with those low rates.   Having now seen the standards that Raven holds herself and her team to, I think that her quote was extremely generous, and we got excellent value for the money speant.  This is not your typical cleaning crew.  They are absolutely worth a few extra dollars.  In my opinion, they're worth quite a lot more.
Raven and Vickie came this last Monday (10/27) for the deep clean, and did a simply exemplary job.  Just one specific example:  we've had cleaners for "one off deep cleans" a couple of times now since we bought the house, and none of them (NONE) have been able to really get the glass doors on the master shower clean.  I just assumed they were a bad installation choice (they were) and we'd have to live with it until/unless we remodeled.  When I walked into the bathroom, I honestly thought the shower doors were missing for a moment.  They were completely and totally clean and clear.  Raven and Vickie has solved the puzzle, and admitted it took "a lot of elbow grease".  That they were willing to put in the elbow grease where other cleaniers (and, I confess, I myself) had just walked away really shows the difference in attitude of this company.  The whole bathroom was in better shape than it has ever been, including the day we moved in.  That "work hard, do it right, get it finished" work ethic was reflected throughout the house.  Raven's high standards were obvious in every room.  It was more than we expected.  It was more than we've gotten from any other cleaning company we've had in the house.  
I initially told Raven that I'd be happy to write her an Angie's List review, but that I was going to wait a month so I could rave about her regular visits as well as the deep-cleaning one.  But I've felt so relaxed, grateful, and frankly "at home" in my clean and sparkling house since she and Vickie did their magic that I had to take the time to come and tell anyone who was considering hiring her that "This is the one you've been looking for.  Give her a call."  
And I'll have to come back and update with details about the bimonthly cleanings.  Watch this space ;).  I'm that sure there will be more praise to share.

We were in desperate need of a top-to-bottom house cleaning, after recently completing some inside contractor work and painting. We found the House Dr. on Angie's List and, based on the ratings, contacted them for an estimate. Raven Clark called almost immediately and set up a time to view the house and the work needed. She arrived promptly for the appointment and walked the house with us, to review everything that needed to be done. As we were close to having carpet cleaning done, we were in a hurry to get the cleaning done and Raven was able to schedule us, to have the work done within the next week.

Raven and Victoria arrived as scheduled, and spent the next 8 hours thoroughly completing all of the work we had discussed. They also offered suggestions for things we could do to better maintain the house, and also gave us the names of some prospective contractors to work with on other projects.

We were very pleased with what Raven and Victoria accomplished. They were very professional and thorough in their work. We are planning to bring them back on a monthly basis, to help us keep up with the cleaning.

Raven and her crew did a wonderful job cleaning my house before company came for the weekend.  Thebathrooms shined and our wood floors looked great. We will definitely use Raven again.

I work more than 40 hours a  week and have 4 pets. When I was getting ready for a house full of company, I know I didn't have time to do justice to my house. Enter Raven and Vickie. First- Raven was really responsive. She called answered her phone and set up an appointment on the spot. The day of the appointment she called me to let me know she would be a bit late because another job had run longer- I can deal with that as long as someone let's me know, so appreciated that. 
She and Vickie hit the ground running when she got here. I had her clean two bedrooms, bathroom, living room and kitchen. She did everything from the baseboards to the ceiling fans to washing floors to wiping down cupboards. The job was bigger than we had anticipated, and Raven called me at work to confirm my budget and asked me to prioritize what I wanted done in that time period. I increased my budget because I needed it all done and realized I had underestimated how much work there was. 
When I came home, the house was immaculate. Raven went over with me what she and Vickie had done and showed me a couple of spots that could use extra attention, showing a keen eye for detail. They did the cleaning while working around my dog and three cats. They were polite and professional, conferred with me about what kind of cleaner I wanted for my wood floors, went the extra mile. 
Raven is the hardest working woman in this business. 
The price was higher for the first cleaning because, well, my house was in need of a very thorough cleaning. I have company coming again this weekend, and yes, Raven is coming tomorrow.

First off, I was so impressed with Raven when she came by to do the
estimate.    She brought along all of her credentials and certifications
as well as gave a thorough summary of their services and the products
that they would use.  They did a deep clean for the first clean and it
was amazing.  The house was cleaned just as she said it would be.  One
of my pet peeves is people not putting back decor items they way that I
had them.  You could tell that they took the time to place back
everything as it was.  I couldn't be happier with the service and was
excited for them to return for the next bi-weekly.  They did not
disappoint and the house looked awesome and smelled great.  Raven's
prices are reasonable and fair and I especially like the fact that I
know who will be doing the cleaning every week.  Raven is extremely responsive to emails and calls and takes great pride in her work and is truly interested in her customer's satisfaction.  I would and will when asked recommend her services to anyone!

Our family home had been neglected for several years. After we cleared out much of the clutter, Raven and Vickie thoroughly cleaned the house top to bottom. This was a big job with a lot of accumulated dirt and dust. Raven had a strategic plan to maximize her team's time and our budget. As she and Vickie worked, she kept us informed of issues and opportunities and we adjusted the plan to best fit our ultimate goal.
Raven also arranged for a professional window cleaner to come after she and Vickie had finished the interior cleaning. She worked with the window cleaner to be sure her efforts complimented his, not overlapped. And she managed his services to our budget as well. Raven also contacted me to be sure we were satisfied with the window cleaner's work before releasing his payment.
I highly recommend Raven and Vickie. They took on this very tough job with smiles and enthusiasm with amazing results! My family and I are forever grateful.

We had just purchased a house and wanted it well leaned prior to moving in.  Raven was on time and was patient with me (as I was short on time) and had to quickly walk her through the house. She did everything I asked and our new home was spotless when we moved in.  I didn't have the opportunity to come back and check the work before I paid her, so I had to have a lot of trust that she would complete the job properly but I didn't have to worry because  I couldn't be happier with the results and I would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone who is looking for a thorough house cleaning.

Raven and her staff are so great.  They really pay attention to detail.  The couch is vacuumed, the hard wood floor is washed UNDER the couches, everything is amazingly clean.  The best feeling is to come home to a clean house, and being able to trust the people cleaning it to do a great job and keep our belongings safe is what we continuously have experienced.  I would recommend Homes by Raven to anyone looking for quality service.  Raven always is in contact with us ahead of time in the case of a delay, holiday, any changes in the schedule (which rarely happens).

Raven was the best we had ever had. Nothing got by her.

She does a very good job. They clean the patio door and the from doors. She will do more detailed work if you request, then she gives you the cost for more work. Very friendly.

Our new home is a two bedroom ranch with office which had been empty since November except for a construction crew in the basement.  Raven and Vicky cleaned the entire house, spending approximately 6 hours - they cleaned ceiling fans, inside and outside of cabinets, lots of wood trim, two bathrooms and wood floors.  Raven was very functional and professional, told me what she would do and followed through.  When the job was complete it looked wonderful.  Raven again walked me through the house, and showed me a  couple of things about the house she had discovered.  I was extremely happy with the entire job until I discovered a broken window blind in the laundry room that was not pointed out to me.  I will most likely use Raven again on several projects after discussing the window blind incident.  They did a great job and I was happy to have found them.

UPDATE: ,As a follow-up to my prior review?..Raven and Vickie did a wonderful job cleaning our 2,500 foot new home including two bedrooms, office, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, hardwood floors, 4 ceiling fans, lots of woodwork, inside and outside of cabinets.  They were prompt, professional and responsive.  The house looked great after they spent  nearly 6 hours cleaning everything.  When Raven realized I had found a part broken off a window blind, she contacted me immediately and offered to take care of the repair.  I appreciate their hard work and will definitely use their services again.

Raven and Vickie did an excellent job in deep cleaning my home. It was empty as we were moving in the next day. Raven was very pleasant and professional. When she had questions on anything at all, she did not hesitate to call and to ensure that we stayed on budget. Raven and Vickie scrubbed my 3600 sqft house We couldnt find anything that was not cleaned properly. Baseboards, door frames, corners, even lamp covers. No dust or dirt anywhere! Wood floors were shiny and meticulously cleaned. The work was done in a little over 6 hrs and was done in fine detail. If I needed a deep cleaning again, I definitely would call her first. It was a pleasure to move into a beautiful, clean home. :) Ravem came to work on a Saturday morning!!! What a gem. I highly recommend her!

I have never had a house cleaning company do such a fantastic job!!  I have used maybe 3 different companies in the past.  The owner, Raven, even offered me advice and a quote when I called her and she didn't have availability so I could compare others.  Then she was able to take me on as a client and I was wowed!  I had no issues after the detailed cleaning and that is basically unheard of.  The team was also careful to put things back where they belong or at least very close which shows great attention to detail.  I cannot wait for them to show up every month and am even thinking of using them more frequently.  They are excellent and I highly recommend!

Our regular cleaning job is done fantastically, very professional service provider.  I've used Raven for several years now and get consistent quality in the work that she and her team perform for us.  I always look forward to cleaning day because I know that coming home to a fresh clean home is such a relief for our family and our busy schedule.  This service gives time back to me and my family that can be utilized in quality time spent together.
I also really appreciate that Raven is accomodating if we have a special need for an extra service or a callout to spend more time in a certain area due to our family events.  I rarely see the team because they come while I'm at work, but communication is easy and responses are always quick.

She is very professional and thorough. I really liked Raven from the first day I met her when she came to my house for my initial estimate. Even though I really liked her - I delayed using her  because she was more expensive than other cleaners. At the time I went with someone cheaper but as the old saying goes - you get what you pay for! I ended up calling Raven back  after a few months because the cheaper cleaner scratching my bathroom fixtures and used cleaners that were too abrasive. I'm glad that I found Raven and wish I had used her from the beginning. My favorite part about her cleaning is she dusts the walls on a scheduled basis. Bottom line  - She does a great job!

They clean both floors. That include three bedroom, two bathroom, living room, kitchen, family room. They move all the lite stuff to dust everything. They clean the outside of the cabinets, stove, refrigerator, microwave, computer, TV, fireplace, books, pictures, ceiling fans, vacuum all the floors, and the tile floor in the kitchen. These ladies clean EVERYTHING. They even clean the inside and outside of the patio door. They empty every trash and takes it out  to the trash can outside. Raven even reviews everything and makes the ladies understand how to do an extremely high quality of work. Raven constantly asks, to make sure you are very, very happy. The ladies are very nice, hard workers. They are committed to do an excellent job. Even if the traffic is bad, they will call and let you know, even if only going to be a couple of minutes late. You cannot find service.

Raven has been cleaning our house for well over 18 months and we think she is an exceptional service provider. When she first came, she did a thorough cleaning of the house (which had never been professionally cleaned) and, honestly, the house was almost unrecognizable. Ceilings, doorways, moldings, crevices, woodwork that had been accruing years of dust sparkled. Almost every one I know who hires a cleaner complains that the first couple of times, the house is spotless, but then as time passes their provider is a little less careful. This is not the case with Homes by Raven. Every week she leaves the house gleaming. She vacuums our rugs and furniture, she cleans our wood floor, she polishes our stainless steel appliances, our counters gleam, our glass doors are crystal clean, everything is dusted, the moldings are spotless, the bathroom is spotless. Raven will also use whatever cleaning products you prefer, but also will give you her best advice. She is scrupulously attentive to details and will not leave your house until she is satisfied. And believe me, if Raven is satisfied, then you will be too. 

Raven and her crew do an excellent job. I lived out of state previously and was unable to find anyone who was as professional and thorough as Raven. When we moved back she was one of my first calls. Raven is easy to work with and always makes sure every detail of my home is clean. I really appreciate her hard work.

Raven has been cleaning my home every other week for several months now.  She is professional, personable, and thorough. I trust her and her team to be in my home without me present, which works well for me.  I also like that we communicate by email, which she always responds to in a timely way.  When I needed to change the time she arrives, she was very accommodating to get that arranged, which I really appreciated.  I have had several different cleaning services and she is the best.  She is reliable and does a very nice job.  It's always great to come home to a sparkling house! 

Raven and her staff are amazing.  They arrived on time and asked if I had any additional things that needed done this time.  She is always available via email or text message, and let us know 2 weeks in advance of when our cleaning schedule might be changed.  We have had her cleaning on a bi-weekly basis for about 2 months now, and have been very pleased.  She was very professional at our first meeting and had many references for us to call.  Any time there is a change or delay in her schedule on our day of cleaning, she lets us know immediately, even if they are going to be 15 minutes over or late she lets us know.  The most important thing to me as a client is to trust them in our home, rely on them to be there on time, and it to be cost-effective.  She does a fabulous job, pays attention to detail, and always asks if there are any extra things we would like done that week.

got a quote and they started.....  a couple of months into it there was a reorganization and things stayed pretty much the same. There are always things you hope they could do better but overall they do a good job. Would reccomend.
