LOOK NO FURTHER. The Realty Firm is truly the BEST real estate team in Columbus. This review is from the perspective of a client, who happens to also be a Realtor. I have very high standards for how a real estate transaction should go. After relocating to the Cincinnati area and being in the midst of dealing with many personal things which made it difficult to travel to Columbus, I reached out to The Realty Firm to help me sell my condo in New Albany. From start to finish, my experience with the team was an A+. They exceeded my expectations in every part of this transaction, which is not easy to do. The process began with the team helping me find a contractor to complete some much needed updates on my unit. This was extremely valuable since I was out of town and trying to get this done. Tonya Gedert ,the office manager, worked with the contractor to coordinate the unit being completed on time. Once the condo was ready to go on the market, the team’s stager, Kat Fairman, staged the property and took beautiful pictures. I feel the staging and great pictures helped the property to sell. Staging is an awesome service they offer to all listings. Charlene Fairman then performed a market analysis. She reviewed the details with me and came up with a price for my property. The price was more than I was even hoping for and I couldn’t believe it!!! I truly feel that it is important to have an experienced and knowledgeable agent like Charlene to help people sell in this market. Her experience in the current market helped me to get the most money for my property. Once we listed, we had showings immediately and received a contract. Charlene was in contact with me and the agents who showed the condo. She communicated frequently with me, which is something I really appreciate. Charlene used her amazing negotiation skills to get me the best terms in a contract and to help make sure that the buyer of the condo was well qualified. The in- contract process went extremely smoothly from start to finish. Tonya Gedert, kept me apprised of any updates, helped to coordinate an out of town closing and ensured we met all of our contract timelines. It was a life saver to have Tonya Gedert taking care of all of these things. Closing happened without a hitch, which is not always the case. We also did a virtual closing, which was a very unique and convenient experience. Working with the Realty Firm was such a blessing! I will be forever grateful for all they did to get my condo sold. Some agents are in the business to sell homes, but The Realty Firm team truly cares about their clients. I felt that no matter what, they always wanted what was best for me. I had a very positive experience with Charlene Fairman during the sale of a previous home, so calling The Realty Firm was a "no-brainer". Charlene worked with us to sell our home (it sold quickly and at the price she suggested during our initial meeting) and she and Tonya Geddert worked exhaustively to help us secure the purchase of another home. Their work is second-to-none and they approached our purchase with the understanding that we may see 100 homes before making a decision. Luckily, we found our forever home quicker than we thought, but The Realty Firm made it clear to us they would partner with us as long as it took. I can honestly say that I don't consider either Charlene or Tonya as simply "our realtors". They are both considered friends. Working with Charlene and team is a breeze. Buying/Selling/Building a home is an inherently stressful process. She is an expert and makes that process a lot easier. We have bought a condo with her in 2004, sold it in 2006, built a new home then sold that to build another new home. She is honest, professional and comes with a lot of industry knowledge and experience. It can be very complicated but she has worked us through buying and selling multiple properties with ease. the services they provide are vast and she always has great connections to help with the projects needed i.e. carpet replacement. Going through the process of selling our home that we built together and lived in for 10 years (brought children home in, etc.) was hard. It was a tough decisions and we spent many nights talking through pros and cons with her. She always remained level headed and helped us sort out what we wanted in a move and we ultimately decided to sell and build new-it was a great decision. She always had time for us and was willing to schedule time to talk through all of these. There was never pressure and her guidance was more than helpful. We have used Charlene since 2004 and i cannot imagine working with anyone else. She and her team are the best at what they do. We appreciate them a lot!!
