THE FITNESS STORE

I stopped in at the Hamilton Road store and with the help of the sales person selected an exercise cycle for my home. The sales person was very helpful and helped me make a decision as to which bike was most useful for me. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

2 of their installers came over and had to disassemble the unit to move it. During reassembly the main drive union cracked and the X10 no longer functioned. Things happen. It is how customer service gets us through things like this that makes the difference between a good company and a bad one. The installers immediately apologized and I received a call from their manager, with a followup from the local store. Both were apologetic and interested in having the machine functioning. Since it wasn't equipment that they sold, they offered to pay for the service technician without hesitation. I would definitely call The Fitness Store again for any equipment purchases or installation. Although they are a decent size company, they sure do make you feel like you are the only customer, especially when things don't go as planned.

No pressure, supportive.

AFTER VISITING SEVERAL FITNESS EQUIP. STORES (LOOKING FOR ONE OF THREE SPECIFIC BRANDS/MODELS), I WAS SOMEWHAT DISCOURAGED. I NOT ONLY FOUND MY 1ST CHOICE PRODUCT, THE SALESPERSON (CLINT) WAS BOTH KNOWLEDGEABLE (BA IN SPORTS MED), AND LOW-PRESSURE/PATIENT. I WAS ABLE TO WALK/JOG ON SEVERAL HIGH-QUALITY MODELS/BRANDS. THE TREADMILL WAS DELIVERED THE NEXT DAY AT A CONVENIENT TIME. I RECEIVED A 20 MINUTE CALL AHEAD OF DELIVERY AND THE DELIVERY TEAM (OF TWO) WAS COURTEOUS AND LEFT THE HOUSE LOOKING LIKE IT DID BEFORE THEY CAME. THEY SHOWED ME THE ''BASICS'' ON BOTH THE CARE AND USE OF THE TREADMILL. I HAVE NOT HAD OCCASION TO USE IT YET, BUT THEY ALSO SERVICE THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL.
