STUMP BUSTERS

I set up an appointment with this company on behalf of my elderly neighbor. He completely grinded down about thirteen or fourteen stumps. He did the job for far less than I thought he would be able to. He was very sweet and nice to deal with.

Responsive service over the phone in planning, we had to consider the weather and work around it. He was honest about potential damage to our yard based on his heavy equipment. Unfortunately, the stump grinding went down a little too deep and ground our down spout from the house to the street, which required emergency repair service. Greg was responsive when we called to let him know, and refunded the full amount of his service.

Overall I am pretty happy. As many others have stated, the price cannot be beat. I got his name and information after contacting Ahlum Arbor they referred me to Greg. He does take some time to get in touch with and setting everything up, and he may not arrive on time, but the job will get done. He runs a one man show, he does all his own appointments and work so he keeps pretty busy most of the time. Greg showed up and set up a screen around the area to help catch debris from flying everywhere. There was a little mess in the yard, but again no big deal at all for the price and the job done. I also had a neighbor who needed work done and he knocked it out FAST and cleaned up her deck when done which had some chips on it from the machine chipping out the stump. All told, he took out two stumps and cleaned up her deck in less than 45 minutes time with a TOTAL cost for two jobs at a third of what another company wanted for my stump alone.

After several quotes that I thought were too expensive to remove 10 stumps, I called Stump Busters. Greg came out the next day and gave me a quote of $250. That was less than 1/2 that of my least expensive quote. I called Greg and told him to do it ASAP. His crew arrived on schedule and did an amazing job. I could not believe how clean they left my backyard! Also, although they had little control over it, they managed to not cut any of my buried wiring for my landscape lighting. I would recommend them to everyone!

I was referred to Greg from Oakland Nursery. He returned my call within 48 hours. He gave me an estimate over the phone. He charges per 1-2 square inch of stump. My estimate was only $35.00 compared to other estimates I had received for over $100.00. He arranged a time to come. He came and removed the stump. He sent a bill within a week.

He was much lower than another estimate that we received. He was prompt, efficient and neat.

I had a great experience with this company. They came when they said they would. They gave me the estimate, and then just did the job.

They were perfect. They did a real good job for a real fair price.

We initially called another stump removal company who referred us to Stumpbusters. Greg Biffle from Stumpbusters came out the following week and took care of the 3 stump removals. I was shocked to find out that he only charged $40 for all three removals! I would recommend Stumpbusters to anyone. Greg was very friendly and professional.

It took a few calls to get them out, but he apologized and took care of it no charge. It's amazing how quick and clean they're able to remove the stumps/roots!

He called me back within 24 hours. He gave me a bid the following day which was very fair. He came the next day to do the work. Could not have asked for better service. He's the guy to call, if you ask me.

He was very receptive. When I called him he had called back right away. He came out on a day I wasn't home and left me an estimate on the screen door. His price was great. He was fast and thorough.

I left a message on Monday for Greg telling him I had a stump I needed removed. Greg called back that evening and said he would be out the next day to do an estimate. It turned out I was home when he came by and when I answered the door Greg said he could have the stump out in 10 minutes and could do the job for $30. I was a bit stunned, having expected it might cost $100 or more. Sure enough, Greg had the stump out in 10-15. And it was a clean job. The machine he rolled to the back of the yard did not damage my lawn. And Greg was careful to put a shield around the area so the mess was confined to the stump area. Greg was very friendly and efficient and I was thrilled to have the job done so quickly and efficiently. HIGHEST Recommendation!

Great job. The gentleman arrived on schedule with a way cool joy stick remote controlled machine that quickly turned three very large stumps into small piles of mulch. The entire process took a little over an hour.

Nice work, and fast. Stumps were in different locations around the yard, and they didn't leave a trace of a mess behind.

He really dig deep down where huge roots of this big tree was, and grinded them all thoroughly, as I have requested. The tree had lift the ground up in a mound shape, and the backyard needed to be sloped away from the house. He dug out deep enough to level down the ground. He was courteous and very sympathetic person to work with. I was very satisfied with his work. The only down size of his very efficient work, is that he does not provide debris removal. His equipment was the only one that could fit into the house narrow fences.

Greg did a great job. When cleaning up the wood chips, we found more stump that needed to be ground out further. He came back out as promised with no additional costs. The only problem we had was the time it took for him to return calls, but he is a one man operation.

I called and left a message to get an estimate to remove four stumps from our front yard. My call was returned later that day and the quote was left at my house the following day (Friday). Over the weekend, we took down one more tree. I called on Monday and left a message stating that we definitely wanted the work done and that we had one more stump to grind. All stumps were removed on Wednesday of that week. Stump Busters is great!

Did a good job, the price was right, and I was very pleased. I have recommended him to many people.

Stump Busters returned my call within a couple of hours and came out to my house the same evening. Unfortunately, my stump was too large (tall) for him to handle.

Owner was very easy to deal with. He even said he would come by the next day and do it for $35; tree unseen. He did a great job and mailed us the invoice as it is an investment property.

The way the took the stump was taken out was all incased, and they watched out for my neighbors property. He also showed up ahead of schedule. I was really happy about this.

Very quick response. I left a message which was returned the same evening. Came to my house the following day and removed stump immediately after giving estimate. Agreed to remove 2 other stumps at no additional charge when the existing shrubs in the landscape were trimmed back in the fall. We decided to wait until fall so that his machine could access the stumps without harming the existing landscape.

Called in the morning, Greg called me back that evening. I gave him the size of the stump and he quoted me a price over the phone. He came out the next morning and gound out the stump. Excellent, responsive, well priced service. I would use his service again.
