Gayle was terrific. She is professional and quite competent. My piano had not been tuned in at least a decade and had not even been played for over five years. It felt and sounded horrible. She spent a fair amount of time on it at a reasonable price. Once she finished working through all of the issues that developed over the last ten years, it sounds and feels like a different (new) piano. I will most definitely call her again and recommend Staples Piano Service to anyone looking for tuning and other services.

Great! Gale came and it took less time than she had thought it would (only 1 1/2 hours). She was very nice, professional, and did a great job. Cost was $96.75 which I have found to be a common price to have a piano tuned. I will definitely have Gale come back next time.

Both Mitch and his wife Gail came out to tune our upright player piano that was just moved 700 miles across the country. The piano had not been tuned for 10-15 years prior to this tuning and proved to be quite the daunting task. Mitch and Gail spent nearly 5 hours tuning and fixing the piano, all the while checking with me to verify I wanted to replace strings etc. they could not have been more patient or professional! I called many piano tuners just trying to find one that would work on a player piano and I am so glad I found Mitch and Gail! The piano sounds great and I will be sure to have them out for the regular tunings!

Mitch has been tuning our piano for several years now. Mitch is a gentleman, and very pleasant when in our home. He is very skilled and well qualified, and I have not one complaint in many years. He does an expert job. The piano sounds great when he is finished, and tends to hold it's tuning very well. I have watched him through much of the process a few times, and it is clear he is comfortable and confident in his profession.

We scheduled and, then, I goofed and wasn't home when Mr. Staples came. He left a nice note, hoping that everything was OK. Very nice. We rescheduled. He was gracious about my mistake... When he came to work on the piano, he was prompt and courteous. He's a nice fellow. He worked on my piano for well more than an hour. It had been many years since it was tuned, so he said he had to do it twice: once to raise the pitch, then to tune it. So, rather than it costing the usual $85, it was $130. (He did not charge me a penalty for my not honoring our original date and time.) That seemed fair to me. He did a great job, was gracious with me, and I will hire him again -- sooner this time.

Excellent. Mitch was very professional and very knowledgeable about the piano. He also, provided a thorough inspection of this piano before, I bought it and offered technical advice on piano care. Tuning was spot on.
