Were slightly delayed, but called to inform. Once technician arrived he worked efficiently and did a thorough and clean job. Cost was slightly higher than anticipated because extra work was done, but was still in estimate range.

Overall it was a great experience. It took a while to get the screens in but Aaron kept me informed and once they were in they came to install them. They also did a nice job with the servicing of the fireplace with great detail. The price was $80 for the check up and $200 for the screens.

I felt like these guys knew what they were talking about, took their time with me, weren't trying to sell me things I didn't need, and did a professional job. I've already referred them to two friends.

Went fine. There was a part in the ignition system that was damaged. The technician went back to his shop and provided a substitute. All works well and I'm very happy with the service.

As usual, Specialty Gas House arrived on time for their appointment. We had to wait two weeks for the appointment because they are so busy, but we knew that when they did come a competent job would result.

First, we went to the showroom to pick out our gas logs and then arranged for them to come to the house to do the installation. Everything went very well. They were helpful in the showroom and did a very thorough job of explaining all the features of the various models. The installation went very well. They encountered a problem which they solved.

We are completely satisfied with Specialty Gas House's professionalism and customer service. We had originally ordered logs from another vendor, but after a bad experience (see my other reports), used Angie's List to find Specialty Gas House. At the shop, Rob explained the differences in vented and non-vented logs and showed us several different sets. We ordered our logs and added a remote control. The price was $255 LESS than the logs we had originally ordered from the other shop. We scheduled our installation. Ben arrived at our house early, presented his card, and removed his shoes before coming in. He carefully covered the brick and carpet around the fireplace before he went to work. After completing the installation, he thoroughly reviewed all of the features of our logs and remote and even gave us some troubleshooting tips if we would ever need them. We will definitely be going back to Specialty for our fireplace doors and gas grill accessories!!

I was having trouble igniting the gas fireplace. The technician was very helpful explaining everything. He was patient and knowledgeable.

The company was easy to contact and set up an appointment with. They were able to give me a very accurate estimate over the phone. The technician arrived on time and was very polite.

The installation was set up as quickly as I could hope for after purchasing the logs, and the installer was very punctual, efficient and demonstrated the operation of the new set of logs to my satisfaction before he left.

Aaron Graves, who assisted us at the store, was extremely helpful in assisting us in trying to decide if we wanted a vented or ventless system and then the style of logs to choose. The installation was scheduled within a week of our purchase and was done professionally.

Rob and Eric were helpful, professional and courteous. I really appreciated Rob helping me get the gas turned off.

Overall great experience. Polite, did the job for the price quoted and cleaned up after job was complete.

Eric is great! He was prompt, pleasant and easy going. He showed me how to open the front of my fireplace so I could clean the mineral deposit build up myself next time. He suggested a routine maintenance check on the unit every 3-4 yrs. Eric also let me know about possible problems I could experience with my fireplace. Best of all, the invoice came in $40.00 under the estimate! I will keep them in my tickle file for future reference.

Speciality arrived right on time. The tech was professional and very communicative. He ran a new line for a gas stove and a gas dryer in the basement. He inspected the leak in my fireplace and gave me several option with there estimated costs. When the leak could not be repaired he capped off the line as I requested and only charged me for the labor. I am completely satisfied and would recommend Speciality again.

Eric, the installer, showed up exactly when they said he would. He handed me his business card when I answered the door. He was polite and showed me what he was planning to do. Within 2 hours he was done. The price was $300 less than a previous estimate I had received. I am very pleased.

Overall, I was very satisfied. Originally I went to 3 stores to compare products. They were, by far, the most knowledgeable and had the best selection. The first time they came out, they could not install the log set due to a small gas leak in the existing gas line. They had forewarned us this may be a problem. After our plumber fixed the gas line, they promptly came back out. The installer was professional, and did a great job.

THEY HAD TO REPLACE MY GAS LINE AS WELL. THEY WERE EXCELLENT. THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND EFFICIENT
