We scheduled the appointment ahead of time and the service technician arrived a few minutes early. The technician was friendly and answered all of the questions that we had. He vacuumed out the entire fireplace, cleaned and checked over our system. He started a fire and checked the fireplace for proper draft, etc. The technician was careful when cleaning the fireplace and did a good job with his clean up.

Within a week of making the purchase we were called that our log set was in and ready to be installed. Erik came out for the installation he was on time and very concerned about keeping our house clean - he even took his shoes off as he entered (numerous times). He checked for leaks in our gas line and then began the installation of the gas logs. He had it all set up and ready to go in a short time and then took the time to explain how to light the pilot and the gas logs. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the product.

They were the only place in town that I could find to do this installation. Everyone I called referred me to them. They knew exactly what I wanted and did an A+ job. Very close attention to detail. I could tell they are the experts in this business!

Overall it went really well. Eric showed up on time, had everything he needed to complete the job and cleaned up after he was done. He was very professional. He went over all the details on how the fireplace works, how to light the pilot, etc.

GAS LINE INSTALL WAS QUICK AND NO PROBLEM AT ALL. SERVICE MAN EXPLAINED THAT MY LOGS NEED CLEANING ABOUT EVERY 2 YEARS AS THEY GET DIRTY AND THE ODOR I WAS SMELLING CAN COME FROM DEBRIS THAT FALLS ON THE LOGS. ADDITIONALLY, HE REPLACED THE "GLOWING EMBERS" THAT WERE TOO DIRTY TO CLEAN AND REUSE.

It was a superior experience. Eric was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He took extra care in keeping my house clean during his visit, including taking off his shoes at the front door and laying down a tarp to protect my floor from any soot or debris. Eric also took the time to show me where to turn off the gas at the main valve for future reference.

We used Specialty Gas Services last year when we purchased a new set of gas logs and went to them again to purchase new fireplace doors. They had several types of doors in the showroom and were very patient in explaining the differences between them. I selected the set I wanted and scheduled a time for Aaron to come to our home and measure our opening so the doors could be ordered. Aaron brought samples of the different metals and colors available for the doors so I could view them in our family room. We ordered the doors and they arrived earlier than expected (in about 4 weeks). Ben did the installation in less than an hour and was very neat and polite. We have recommended Specialty Gas Services to our friends!

The experience was very good from the selection to instillation. During the process, I talked to four individuals and all were very pleasant to work with. I would use them again.

We bought a home build in 1993. Though we had the home inspected, we wanted an expert in gas log fireplaces to double-check the fireplace and to teach us how to use it. Since we're from FL, we have only had all-electric homes and wood-burning fireplaces. It could not have gone better. He discovered a small leak, repaired it, and did a great job teaching me how to light and manage our logs.

They did good service. They were prompt and on time. It was a good experience, I liked the guy they sent out he was pleasant.

Very satisfied. Eric explained everything he was doing and helped formulate the plan after seeing the scenario. He definitely knows his stuff and did a very nice job. I now have 2 quick disconnect valves that can be used for a natural gas grill and an outdoor wok with plenty of BTUs for both.

They price was very reasonable for high quality materials. They showed up on time and were easy to schedule. I've never had people work in my house who were so neat. They were personable. There was a slight problem that was not their fault and they were extremely responsive to that.

I believe the technician's name was Eric. Did outstanding work. Very quick and very efficient. Showed me the source of the gas leak as he disassembled some of the internal parts of the grill. Was very respectful, especially when he had to come into the house (e.g. took off his shoes, etc.). Very easy to schedule with this company - very responsive.

Great service. The representative was on time, early, actually, polite, and knowledgeable. He explained the conversion process and tested for gas leaks. When he initially thought he discovered a leak, I was prepared to spend more money for a new gas line. He later repositioned his meter and found no leak after all, which he confirmed twice. The representative assured me the new gas line was unnecessary. This demonstrated honesty, credibility, and integrity.
