Tech arrived on time. I explained to him that we noticed a gas smell when our gas fireplace was being serviced by another company. He checked everything and was able to locate the source of the leak. He removed the damage gas line and ran a new line to our fireplace. The service was great, the technician was very thorough and the owner even followed up to make sure we were happy with everything. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing service and will definitely use them again in the future if the need should arise.

Excellent service. When I called, they answered right away, scheduled a 1 hour appointment within a week and showed up 15 minutes early. Luke had the fireplace cleaned and operational within 5 minutes. He answered all our questions and was very professional. I was dreading a very expensive bill, but the cost was very reasonable. highly recommend this company!!

Arrived on time and installed gas line, installed chimney cap, and then installed the gas logs. Installer showed me how to use it and that was all there was to it. We were very pleased and would recommend Specialty Gas to everyone.

It took awhile to get the stove in as it was a special order, but other than that, everything turned out fine.

The representative arrived at our home on time, was very professional, and worked quickly. He used a drop cloth and wore booties over hit shoes to make sure no dirt was tracked in. Overall, we were very happy with the service we recieved and would recommend this company to anyone.

It went well. Luke called before his arrival as I'd requested, and came on time. He took off his shoes upon entering the house. The whole operation lasted 30 minutes or less. He answered all my questions satisfactorily. He was friendly and professional.

Arrived within 10 min. of appointed time. Took off shoes (white carpet) without being asked to. Inspected FP to see it complied w/ wood burning requirements. ( Owner had removed gas logs previously installed in FP, leaving floor shut-off valve intact.) "Luke" provided and installed log starter and corrected previous arrangement of supply pipe in basement. He was professional, courteous, and helpful. He instructed owner in proper lighting and safety of use before leaving. A very pleasant experience !

I emailed a few companies looking for quotes and asking about gas fireplaces. The only one who called me was Specialty Gas. Answered a lot of questions on the phone and was very easy to talk with and I could tell they knew their stuff. Subsequently I went to check out fireplaces at their showroom before getting one. The guy I talked with at Specialty was beyond knowledgeable. He even knew about my condo complex and how the fireplace would need to be installed. He was great at helping me pick out my logs. I was planning on looking at other options but after the email and visit to the location was set on this company. They made me feel so comfortable in my purchase and that they were experts in what they were doing. Actually came early to do the install which was nice. I would totally use them again and HIGHLY recommend them. They may be a little more expensive but totally worth it.

We had purchased a very large grill that should have had a larger line. No one asked about the size of the planned grill. Since the line is below a cement patio, replacing is not practical. Grill works okay, but a larger line would have been better.

Once we made our decision we returned to the shop and scheduled a day and time for the actual installation. We were able to have the installation done within 24 hours. Eric Sapp arrived right on time, reviewed the job with us and got right to work. He brought everything he needed with him and quickly and efficiently got the job started.The gas grill was installed without any problems and we cooked dinner on it that evening! Eric was an excellent worker - he wasted no time and although the temperatures were in the high 90's that day he took no breaks and would only accept ice water when we insisted. It is rare to find a worker who comes so well prepared to do a job so efficiently. We would certainly use this company again - and recommend this very fine young man.

We bought a gas grill here (no category for that option on Angie'sList) to replace my crappy 4 year old Lowe's Stainless CharBroil that had rotted from the inside out. They sell the MHP brand which is still made in the U.S., although at least one interior part (H burner) is not. These grills are not cheap, but they have a lifetime warranty on most parts and are supposed to last forever. The salesman was very informative and explained all the features of the grill and we could tell by looking inside that these grills are solidly built. They are simple, but still look nice. The entire purchase took about 1/2 hour, and Matt delivered it 4 hours later to my home. It was his last service call of the day and he said he wasn't informed that he had to take our old grill with him, and asked if he could come back the following day for it. He suggested that I put the old grill in the alley behind the house and figured it would be gone in 1/2 hour. I told him I would do this, and if it wasn't gone the next day I would call him to come back for it. Well, Matt knows his stuff because the old grill was gone in less than 1/2 hour (!), and he even called me the following morning to see if it was indeed gone. Good customer service! There is a $95 service charge for delivery and set-up but these guys are licensed plumbers and when fooling with my home's gas line, it was worth the piece of mind that they were going to install the grill correctly.

Great experience with Rob and his crew, they were very knowledgeable, experienced, and punctual in all the installations and tear outs. They even put in the bbq post when the patio was being built and then came back 4 weeks later to actually install the bbq after patio was completed.

A chimney sweep service discovered a gas leak in the fireplace. I was out of town, but authorized the repair. My house sitter called Specialty Gas and observed their visit. They responded promptly and quickly and efficiently identified the source of the leak and repaired it.

We went to Specialty Gas looking for a gas log set and were pleased with their selection and the prices were in line with what we'd seen other places. They also delivered promptly. We also used them to run an external natural gas line to our grill and they were prompt, did a very good job and were really reasonably priced for the service. They also came back out to fix it later when we had a leak. I would definitely use them again!
